Dwayne laughed as well. "An excellent use of your time. I might just do the same thing if I can manage to concentrate on the dictionary long enough. I'm not the best with studying at all and I doubt this would be any different."

Lilly frowned a little bit. "Studying isn't hard...Just treat the dictionary (or any other book you're trying to study, I guess) like a novel...or a newspaper article! That might do you some good, actually. It might help you."

Dwayne thought on that for a moment. "Hmm...you might have something there. I'll give it a shot. But it's a newspaper article for me, definitely."

Lilly shrugged. "What can I say? I try. So when are we going to get ourselves back to the Cohen abode? It has to happen eventually, sorry to say."

Dwayne sighed a bit. "As usual, you're right." He sat up a bit straighter. "Do you have to get there right now or do we have time?" He crossed his fingers behind his back.

Lilly took a long pause, contemplating this. "I think I have some time...depends. What did you want the extra time for, hm? Talking about dictionaries? That doesn't seem half as exciting as someone like you would be wanting for, does it? I don't think so..."

Dwayne smirked lightly. "You got me...as usual. And I think we'll stick around for a little while, don't you?" He bent down again, leaning closer to her. He placed a hand on her face before kissing her.

Lilly's eyes widened and her heart stopped beating, as usual. "Um, yes. At least, if that's what we're going to be doing, I have no qualms with sticking around. Actually, yes, we'll stay. Please."

Dwayne feigned a comtemplating expression. "Well...since you asked so nicely..." He then smirked. "I'm glad we're on the same page on this topic." His hands moved to her shoulders before he kissed her again.

Lilly leaned to him, her hands moving to his neck as she came closer. They were most definitely going to be on the same page, if she had anything to say about it. Maybe she wouldn't go home. Maybe she'd just spend the night at school, if this was what was to be found there.

Dwayne held her a bit tighter as he deepened the kiss. Suddenly, the idea of having to take her home was both necessary and torturous. The realization from the cafeteria kept swirling through his mind. He squeezed her hand, hoping that he wasn't just mistaking excitement for actual...love. There, he let himself think it.

One of Lilly's hands twisted into his hair and she realized it was probably one of the longest kisses they had had yet. It would probably fall under the 'best' category as well. She broke apart from him for a short moment to take in a short breath, blinking away the dizziness. "Well..." was all she could manage to say.

Dwayne nodded, brushing some of her hair out of her face. "Again, you can't really describe this." His smile widened as he gazed at her. "Not a single part of it...at least not enough. Not with words."

Lilly let a soft hand rest on his face, her thumb lightly rubbing his jaw. "Oh, I know. Trust me, I know. I've tried, even, and I can't come close. I'm still trying to figure out whether that's a bad thing or a good thing."

Dwayne smiled gently toward her. "I think it's a good thing, personally. Sometimes the best things in life have no words to describe them. I think this qualifies, don't you?"
