"Aww, but then I wouldn't be able to not worship the ground you walk on like any sane person" April retorted, feigning a whining voice. She loved getting a rise out of snotty people, so she was definitely enjoying herself.

"Well, any sane person SHOULD like me!" Cathrine said, "I'm popular and fashionable.....unlike you," she said, glaring at April and crossing her arms, "Does anyone even like you? I bet your own parents don't even like you!"

"Believe it or not Cathrine, not everyone shares your opinion. It's a tragedy, but it's true." April still managed a cool exterior and was basically blocking out whatever she said. She was proud of herself for this defense mechanism.
((April's one of the first reality checks Cathrine's ever had, hm?))

Cathrine just gaped at April. "Ok," she said, "How can you just not react to ANYTHING I say about you?" She crossed her arms and glared at April. "Just because my opionions are better than others," she said, "Doesn't mean you have to be so rude about it."

((Hehehe. Well, someone's gotta be able to ignore her.)) "It has nothing to do with whether or not your opinions are better. They just don't matter to me, so I choose to not let your bullying get to my head."

"You don't care about my opinons?" Cathrine asked, truely surprised. When had she ever met anyone who didn't care about...well, everyone's opinions? "You really don't care if I say you look like a pile of shit and need to go crawl in a hole and die?"

"Nope." April finished the final question, marveling at how the teacher seemed to not notice. Hmm, maybe April would make a good teacher. She supposed you had to be good at ignoring people's comments to be a good teacher. "I don't care what people think of me. Especially so called popular people."

Cathrine looked at April in disgust at her comment. SO CALLED popular person. "So called!" Cathrine said, "So called! I'm all popular! I look at all the lastest magizines for clothes and makeup the clebraties wear...I have all the friends who are in cheerleading...which is the coolest you can get...and I don't have loser friends like Benny and Tommy who are gay! Gay people are weird and not cool!," she said, crossing her arms.

April twitched. "Leave Benny and Tommy out of this!" she snapped, finally getting ticked off. "And I suggest you stop talking about what you don't know! Gay people aren't any different from anyone else. And besides that, Tommy and Benny are as straight as you can get! Sorry that Tommy doesn't like you like you want him to, but that gives you no right to treat people like this!"

"What do you mean what I don't kow?" Cathrine asked, rolling her eyes, "Gays are weridos who talk in high pitched voices and wear makeup and ditch all us popular girls...what more is there to know?"

April slapped her desk to keep from slapping Cathrine and turned around to shoot a glare toward her. "Those are stereotypes! And as for ditching you, it's not just popular girls. It's EVERY girl! So shut your damn mouth."
"MISS ERICCSON!"
April shot back. "Sorry Ma'am..." She sent one last glare toward Cathrine. "Cut it out" she mouthed toward the girl before concentrating back toward the front of the room.

"Guess someone made the carrot boil," said Cathrine with a giggle as she turned around in her seat

April rolled her eyes as she let herself cool off. She ran a hand through her hair, closing her eyes tightly. Calm down April, calm down...take it out on some poor, defenseless volleyball later... she repeated in her head as she tried to work.

Cathrine smirked noticing APril closing her eyes tightly. "Someone needs to put this carrot in the freezer to cool down."

"I don't care what you say. I'm not listening..." she said in a quiet sing song voice, her knuckles white as she clenched her fists on her desk.
