Tommy chuckled quietly then looking on the ground. A fallen leaf was blowing in the wind. He smiled to himself and then looked up at Angel. "Umm...not particularly. I'll eat though if you want to. I think I got that bottomless pitt stomach thing going on," Tommy said nodding. "We could go dancing...if there were clubs around that is. How about the park? We might be able to find space there to dance," Tommy suggested.

"We don't have to. I'm still full up from lunch," Angel said quietly. Ice cream wasn't overly important to him. Well...not at the moment anyway. Well...ice cream was less important than Tommy. Ice cream was always important, but not so much as Tommy. "What about music?" he asked with a small giggle.

"Okay, then we can pass on the ice cream. Maybe later...oh unless you gotta go home. It's all good," Tommy said putting his spare hand in his pocket. "Uhhh....let's see. We could go back to my house. I have an old boom box somewhere. Make you listen to my music. Or I could just sing to you," He said with a small smile. "I wasn't so sure if I could sing and dance at the same time, but luckily, homecoming told me I can."

"I've got time," Angel assured Tommy. Even if he didn't he'd say he did. There were better things to do than stay home. "You sure...you can go back home?" he asked quietly.

Tommy nodded and inwardly had a little party. The longer he could spend with Angel the better. None of his homework would get done...but hey. He was a senior. He could get away with it. "Yeah...I think I can," He said quietly, "I mean, I think they'll be ok. And if not I'll go right back to Maureen's house for the night. But I was gonna try today anyway. I think they should have cooled off by now. At least I hope." He said rubbing the back of his neck. Really, he thought that they would have to get over it. Tommy's career wouldn't really suffer. Or his education. And they cared about that more than anything else. So they would be ok. It was one of the few times Tommy was thankful that his parents were less than interested in his personal life.

Angel sighed deeply. "Do you think it'd be best if I went too?" he asked honestly. It was probably something Tommy was better off doing alone. He supported Tommy but he didn't want to get in the way. And there was a chance he might. "What do you think?"

Tommy paused for a moment wondering. Then he decided to talk out loud, "Well...I...I understand why you wouldn't want to. And I really don't know how my parents are going to react. But you know...if you're willing to take another risk. I don't think they would direct anything at you anyway." He shrugged. "Also, they're gonna have to get used to the idea. Not just of me being gay and all, but of me being with you. But...up to you."

Angel listened, nodding his head. He still wasn't sure if it'd be the best idea. But if Tommy needed him, he was going. Tommy knew what to say to convince him. It would still be a little awkward but... "If you need me, I'll come. You know that," he said quietly. "I mean...it'll probably be more awkward. If I come. But if you need me...if you want me, I'll be there."

"I..." Tommy didn't think that he really needed Angel to help ward off the words of his parents. But at the same time, he did need him. This much have been the confusing part about love that people talked about. "I could handle it alone. So...I mean it would be..." He shook his head knowing this was Angel. "I'm more worried about you feeling uncomfortable than anything..." Then he dawned on him. "Oh wait...it's in the back shed. The boom box. We can just sneak in and out without my parents ever knowing." Tommy smiled, glad that he remembered that.

Angel nodded his head slowly, sighing deeply. "But it doesn't really matter, though, you know that? I mean, it's between you and your parents, not you and them and me. I'll just be the one holding your hand..." he sighed deeply, hoping that made sense. He wasn't quite sure. But then he looked up, raising his eyebrows a bit. "That works. If it's okay with you..."

"That's true. Maybe... I don't want to drag you into this either. I know it's not really...your problem," Tommy said raising his shoulders to his head without really noticing it. "But if you would hold my hand...that would be awesome." Tommy nodded. "It's fine. I love sneaking around on my parent's property. I used to do that a lot Freshman year. It'll be nostalgic."

"Of course..." Angel sighed deeply, and placed his hands on Tommy's shoulders to bring them down. "They're gonna stay like that if you're not careful," he said quietly. "I love you...you do know that, right?"
"Why'd you have to sneak?" Angel asked.

Tommy let his shoulder melt back to their rightful place and smiled gently. How was it that they were together for so little of a time...and just knew each other? Angel just knew him. "I didn't even realize..." He said quietly. Then he stopped walking and took Angel's waist in his hand. After a few quick glances to see if anyone was around, he leaned down to kiss Angel gently. "I know. And I love you."
"Cause I played into the whole football player lifestyle, full with drunken parties happening all hours of the night," Tommy explained. "Thankfully I'm over them. I actually value sleep."

Angel let his arms move up, wrapping around Tommy's neck. He was finding it hard to be concerned that people would see. Sure there was a little nag in his head telling him they were in full public view. But Tommy's lips were good at warding it off. He returned the kiss, smiling lightly after it was broken.
"Really?" Angel asked, tilting his head. "Like...how crazy?"

"Mmmm..." Tommy hummed when they parted. He kept his eyes closed for a minute and then jumped as a car passed them. Quickly, he dropped his hands to his side and raised his shoulders to his head. It seemed that he would turn into a turtle at times. "I'm...I'm sorry. I didn't see them coming."
"Oh nothing beyond. Dancing on tables. That was about as crazy as it got. There were no drunken orgies to be had. Sadly. Actually that would have been awkward. So that's a good thing I guess," Tommy pointed out.
