"A...what?" Allison asked, by this point thoroughly confused. "Never even heard of him," she admitted to Maureen, trying to take her eyes off of Josh. It really was rude to stare. But it really was hard not to, considering. "Who is he?"
"Thank you," Allison smiled at Mark, adjusting her wig gently. She kept feeling like it was going to fall off...she wasn't used to wigs.

"Oh I see. Okay thanks." He said as he walked away from the now growing group. He didn't know where she was but he would find her, hopefully. Maybe if he could find Roger, he would know where Raelyn was.

It took all of Josh's self control to keep from laughing at Allison's attempts at not staring. That was the whole point in his buying the costume, anyway. He didn't mind being stared at, at least not in this context. "Frank-N-Furter is Tim Curry's character in Rocky Horror... he's the host for the party where they create Rocky," Josh tried to explain. He didn't want to give away too much of the movie.
"There's no midnight show? I figured a town this size would have at least one movie theater playing it on Halloween. I mean, they even showed it in the town I grew up in at midnight, and it was a really small town," Josh replied, sighing.

"Yeah, pretty nice," Mark replied. "Not stuck up, unlike most of the people in this town with money," he added. He didn't know Allison well, but well enough to know she wasn't snobby at all.
"You haven't seen Rocky Horror? It's a cult classic," he told Allison. The truth was, he'd never made it past Rocky's birth; something about that scene freaked him out. But he wouldn't admit it with two die-hard fans standing so close.
"Scarsdale's boring," he told Josh. "You'll get used to it. Trust me, I've lived here my whole life. But hey, you'll graduate and get out of here before too long."
