English.
While it was one of his favorite subjects, he could never really concentrate on what they were supposed to be doing. Today was no acception.
A test... one of the things he should have studied for; yet he had completely forgotten it. As of now, he was just bubbling in whatever answer to the multiple choice sounded the best and thinking about how nice it would be just to sit outside in the sun.
Maybe I'll skip... He thought, the corners of his mouth turning up in a sort of smile. Say I wasn't feeling good.
It wasn't one of the best plans, but it would (hopefully) work.

Roger walked into class with a frown on his face. He looked at the board and saw that a test was planned for that day and he hadn't studied at all. "Oh great, did you know about the test?" He asked Mark quietly so that Mr. Newley wouldn't hear. He took his usual seat and noticed another guy just trying to sleep.

Mark saw Roger frown. Obviously Roger had forgotten about the test on their readings. Mark sighed, "Yeah I remembered. Here sit down and I'll tell you what the reading was. You might be able to figure out the questions from my summaries."
Mark sat down and pulled out his English book, flipped to the right section and quickly started summarizing.

Atticus raised his head, watching as one guy entered the room and asked his friend about the test. It seemed like a lot of people hadn't remembered...
Their loss, I guess...
He frowned, looking over his answers before handing the paper over to Mr. Newley.

Roger listened and nodded. Okay so he thought he was sort of ready but as long as he passed he was fine. "Thanks Mark. Good luck on the test," Roger quickly said before looking at the test. He sighed. "Well here goes nothing," He thought and started to do the test.

Mark smiled, "No problem, man."
He put away his book, shoved his back pack carefully under his seat, not wanting to damage his camera and looked at the test in front of him.
He smiled again. For once, he actually knew the answers without having to think about them for too long. He just hoped Roger passed it too.

He finally finished the test and let off a sigh of relief as he turned it in to Mr. Newley. He waited for Mark to finish because he didn't want to get into trouble for talking. That guy, he was like super smart or something because he finished the test quickly but of course he didn't know anything about him. All of a sudden, his pencil rolled off his desk and right by that guy's feet. "Oh shoot, hey, can you pick that up for me?" He asked.

Mark put down his pencil and smiled. Yeah, he felt confident. Mark turned his test in and looked over to Roger who was trying to get the attention of this one kid.
Mark leaned over to Roger, "Hey, man, it looks like he doesn't want to answer you. Anyway, class is nearly over and I'm sure Lilly's just thinking of thinks to say to me if I make her wait yet again for a ride home."
Mark looked up at the clock, this day was almost over, thank god.

Roger looked at the guy before going and picking up his pencil. "Yea I guess you're right. Can't wait for class to be over, well hopefully she goes easy on ya," He laughed. Just waiting for the bell to ring and then he was finally free of school for the day.

Mark smiled as he started gathering his things. Class was nearly over and he knew Lilly was probably already waiting on him, grumbling that he was not there soon enough. Complaining that she was bored to death because it was just herself and her art pad.
Mark looked at the clock, counted down the seconds when finally...
briiiiiing
He leaned over to Roger, "I'm outta here, man, Lilly's gonna kill me if I'm late again"

Roger smiled as the bell rang. "See ya. Hopefully Lilly won't kill you that much," He said jokingly. As he put all of his stuff into his bag, he remembered that he needed to pick up a book for his Drama class.

Atticus hurried out of the classroom. He paused, and then walked off outside.
