April sighed slightly as she gazed out the window. She'd much rather be outside playing softball than be in this math class. Was being out on a beautiful day so much to ask?
She returned her attention to the teacher. Just remember April; it IS one of your favorite classes...besides, you'll be out soon...

Lilly scrawled another note. They made fun of her because she was taking advanced math? She would show them. She would get the best grade, and then be accepted in to hundreds of colleges when they got squat. Maybe a job at McDonalds at best. "S squared times the square route of three divided by four...quantitatively divided by pi times the radius squared..." Her mechanical pencil split with the fury of her notes. "Hey, April...got any lead?"

April looked toward Lilly and smiled. "Of course..." She handed a pencil to Lilly. "I'm telling you; I can't take much more of this. I love math, but it's too nice out to be cooped up inside a classroom." She sighed and rested her hand on her cheek, staring blankly at the board.

Angel stared at his notebook, tilting it towards himself with a sigh. Alright, so the previous night's homewprk wasn't completely done...as long as Miss Dale didn't walk by, he figured he was okay. He'd catch up for the next night. He kept one hand on his binder, and let the other fiddle with his pencil on the desk.

"Um, no it isn't. It has to be raining. Thanks for the pencil." Lilly glanced up quickly to check for all the notes she missed, and thankfully there weren't many.

Nanette was practically falling asleep over the ramblings of miss Dale. instead of Miss Dale how about they called her miss Daze. Becuase that seemed to be what was happening to everyone today. Nanette looked around the classroom, and noticed some chatters, and then Angel...and his unfinished homework.
"You want the homework hun? I finished mine like yesterday before she even finished talking." She leaned over a bit closer toward Angel, luckily he sat next to her.

Lilly raised her hand quickly. "Miss Dale, that's 2 route 2, not route seven..." She bit her lip and carried on with her notes after making the brief correction.

Angel jumped a bit as he heard Nanette, almost expecting it to be the teacher...stupid guilty conciense. He hadn't really spoken to anyone in the class yet...but she seemed nice enough.
"You're a life saver," he said with a small smile, making sure Miss Dale was still preoccupied with Lilly before starting.

"Think nothing of it." She smiled, and handed over the paperwork. She went back to her won boring notes. Her eyes taveled away from her doodling pencil to the window. It was so...freaking sunny out, and they were stuck inside. Couldn't they do math outside. Outside in the prettyness. She snapped to attention as the ticking of the clock got to her. Her eyes stared in disbelief at the clock.
She jumped up and put all her stuff together. "Sorry Miss. Dale, dance team, er now." She handed over the note and quickly left.

April turned around as she watched Nanette go. She chuckled softly before she glanced toward Angel. She smiled slightly. "That was nice of Nanette" she commented, resting her chin on her fist.

"Yeah," Angel agreed with a small smile, finishing up the homework and turning the page. He didn't exactly know what else to say...he wasn't sure what it was about April, but he sort of got the feeling you didn;t want to make her mad. And he'd found that if he talked too much...that was an easy way to turn people against you. He coughed into his fist.

April raised her eyebrow. Angel sure was a shy guy...she felt kind of bad for him. He looked like he'd be dead meat if he ran into some of her teammates' boyfriends. Well, if anyone should mess with him, she'd probably stick up for him. That was just what April did.

Atticus' head rested on his desk. Math bored him completely. Yes, he was considered good at it, but it didn't mean he had to enjoy every single second. His eyes were closed, giving others the impression that he was fast asleep (which he might as well have been).

Lilly looked over, noticing a kid almost asleep on his desk. She poked him with the rough end of her pencil. "Hey," she whispered, taking her eyes off the board for a moment, "what are you sleeping for?"

Atticus looked up, seemingly irritated by being awoken. He stared at her for a moment before replying. "It's boring." He hissed, before setting his head back on his desk. "I can always figure it out later, anyway."
