"You're welcome. I think I might actually enjoy math for a change," Lilia replied. She grabbed up her books.
"I guess we should meet out in the parking lot. What kind of car do you drive?" Lilia asked.
She looked down at the massive pile of books in her arms. "I seriously hope I can get into my locker this time!"

Eric took another opportunity to check out Lilia as she went to grab her books. "I drive a black Cavalier," he replied. "Should be easy enough to find, only one in the lot."
Watching her struggle with her books, he reached out a hand to take them from her. "Here," he said, "Give them to me, I'll carry them for you," he smiled at her, for once actually enjoying the time he was spending with a girl.

Lilia smiled; it was nice to get this kind of attention from a guy for once. "Okay. Then I'll see you there after school."
Lilia smiled again as Eric reached out to take her books from her. She let him take the pile. "Thanks. It won't make you late or anything, will it? I mean, I wouldn't want to get you in trouble with any of your other teachers or anything."

"Don't worry about me," he replied with a smile, "If I'm let I'll just tell the teacher I was helping out the new kid," he winked at Lilia, teasing. "Besides, it's just English, and I'm actually pretty good at that class. One of the only ones..." he admitted. "Where to for you?"

"Yeah, I suppose the 'good Samaritan' thing would get you off the hook for being late," Lilia said. She looked down at her schedule, still utterly confused as to how she was supposed to read it. "I hate these things. At my old school, everyone in each grade had the same classes at the same times. No confusion." She sighed in frustration.
"Spanish, maybe?" she suggested, holding up her schedule for Eric to see.

"Sounds like a good way to do things," Eric agreed, "But then you don't get to meet new people." He looked down at her schedule. "Yeah, you have Spanish next. Come on, it's down here.

"Thanks," Lilia replied. She couldn't wait for the day to be over, so that she could spend some more time with Eric.

"Any time," he said as they arrived at her class. "Have fun speaking Spanish!"
