Lilia sighed as she and Julia changed positions. They didn't really talk much, so the time seemed to pass fairly slowly. Finally, gym class was over. Lilia smiled at Julia and headed towards the locker room as quickly as possible. She only hoped that Eric had the same lunch as she did.

"She should be," Tommy said with a nod. Then he looked over at Angel and chuckled. "Yeah, sorry. Just gathering my thoughts. I don't know why I've been trying at this stuff lately. Usually I just blow it off." He pulled himself up with a groan as if he was an old man instead of a 18 year old. "You ready?" He asked holding his hands up at the ready.
"Oh...lunch. Yeah that too," Tommy mumbled. "Do you usually have people you sit with?" He asked wondering if he would embaress Angel by sitting with him.

"I guess I must just bring out the best in you," Angel teased with a grin. Though maybe it was true...he hoped it was true. "You okay?" he asked at the groan. He hadn't thought pulling yourself up was such a strenuous exercise. But then again, sit ups could be.
"It's over alread?" Angel asked, his eyebrows raising slightly. The class had seemed shorter than normal. But then again, time flew when you were with someone you cared about it. "Right," he nodded, drawing the corner of his lip into his mouth. Lilly had said...but did that mean she wanted him sitting with her? "I'm not sure," he admitted. "No usual group."

"I guess so. Wanna show off all of my manly muscles. Sadly, they are all inflatable," Tommy winked at Angel and stood up slowly. "I'm fine. I just like to pretend that I'm an old man. Makes me seem more...refined. I don't know if that's the right word." He shrugged not really caring if it was or wasn't.
Tommy held his hand out to Angel and nodded. "Be glad. This one wasn't so painful with the dodgeball. Yeah I don't havea group much either. All of my friends have other lunches as luck may have it."

"That's a real shame. I only like manly men, Tommy," Angel winked. The gym was nearly empty...but he still didn't want to risk kissing Tommy. Much as he wanted to. Rumours could spread like fire in a dry forest. Later he would.
"I like dodgeball! It's fun," Angel shrugged. It was one of the few sports he was good at. Even though he always got out, he could usually manage to hit a few people before that. "I don't really have anybody I usually sit with. I never really see Mimi anymore at lunch," he shrugged, not too concerened. The girl got around, what could he say? She had friends in places he'd never even heard of. "Do you want to sit together?" he asked quietly.

Tommy leaned his head back and laughed. "Well I'm screwed that's for sure. But I wish you only the best...or the not so best so you come back to you know who," He said with a goofy smile as if he was really being sincere about the whole thing. From the night at the dance, he knew that Angel wasn't going anywhere. Which made him feel great.
"Oh really? I thought everyone feared dodgeball. I got terrible aim," Tommy said with a giggle as he walked slowly towards the lockerooms. He raised his brow and smiled. "I don't think you gotta whisper. And I'd be glad to."

Angel gasped in mock-offence. "Really, Tommy! Such a sore loser," he shook his head. He looked back...Loretti was occupied with the last other student in the gym. He kissed Tommy's cheek quickly. "I'd always come back. But I think I'll stick around for awhile if you don't mind...love you too much to leave."
"I think it's kind of fun. If you have jerks shooting their mouths off...you can get them out," Angel shrugged, smiling softly. "I know. I just didn't know if you wanted me to scream it. But if you don't mind...find me a mountain. I'll tell the whole world."

Julia spent the rest of the gym class in an awkward silence. Lilia seemed nice enough, but Julia didn't think they'd have a good friendship if they couldn't get a conversation going. She hoped there would be some interesting people in her next class, who thought of her as more than "the smart girl with a temper" as she had often been referred to in her previous school. She smiled at Lilia right before heading off to the locker room, to grab her bag and change. She pulled out a mirror from her bag once she got in the locker room, and checked her makeup. "Aw, man!" she said as she noticed her eye liner had smudged a bit. She didn't seem to have much luck with the stuff...

"I'm a horrible loser. I pout and everything. It's not really pretty, I'm warning you," Tommy replied putting his hands in his pockets. "Other than the pout not much but you know hwo it is." He smiled as Angel kissed him. "Yeah I definitly don't mind your company. More like love it." He held the door open to the lockeroom for Angel.
Tommy laughed quietly. "Angel's true nature is coming out. I'm shocked and appaled. But you do point out an important point I think. I would love if you screamed it to the whole world...that we want to sit together at lunch. I don't think it would cause a scandal...but I'll get going on that mountain."

"Is that so?" Angel grinned. Why didn't it surprise him? "I'll make sure to never beat you at anything, then. I'd hate to make you pout."
"Is it so wrong?" Angel asked with a giggle, nodding. He stepped into the changeroom, ignoring any of the boys staring at them. "They get me out too," he shrugged. "We both know it's more than just wanting to sit together," he grinned, rolling his eyes at Tommy's teasing. "You know what I meant."

Tommy giggled and shook his head. "Go beat me. My pout isn't deadly. They say it gives you character. So I'm all good with the character stuff," He said stopping at the door as he didn't know where Angel changed...nor did he think it was appropriate for them to...change next to each other. His eyes might wander...
"Really and what did you infer there cause I lost it..." Tommy said with a teasing smile. "Sorry had to say it."

"You think you're lacking in character? Please. You've got enough character," Angel raised an eyebrow, giggling softly. Slowly a blush formed on his face as he realized...they sort of needed to change. "Umm...which one's your locker?" he asked sheepishly.
Angel grinned. It may not have been a mountain...but it was the equivalent, saying it in front of all those boys. But he figured agfter their display at the dance...it didn't matter much. They knew. Scary as it was...Tommy made it easier. "That I love you," he smiled.

"Too much character?" Tommy asked taking his hands out of his pocket and playing with a coin. "I think many people would agree with you on that one." He tilted his head towards the first row. "Should I meet you at your locker or something? Or you could come to mine...whatever..." He didn't want to make Angel uncomfortable. And from the blush on his face, he was slightly uncomfy.
"Yeah...never gonna get sick of hearing that," Tommy said with a deep smile. He leaned over but then paused before kissing him. This was a hostile environment. Better to...keep it cool. Unless Angel had other plans course. "Ditto."

"I wouldn't say too much. But you have enough. I like you the way you are," Angel smiled, squeezing Tommy's hand gently. He nodded at his suggestion, not meeting his eyes. "I'll meet you at yours. It might just be a little...weird," he said quietly.
Angel sighed softly, returning the kiss gently. He kept his mouth close, keeping the kiss relatively innocent for the moment. They'd have time later on for other things.

"Ah nice answer," Tommy grinned ignoring the looks that they were getting from a few boys. Apparntly they weren't at the dance. They made it quite clear who they were there. More than clear. "Yeah I understand the weirdness. See ya," He said squeezing back Angel's hand as if they were about to part for a long time.
After he broke the kiss, he nodded and headed towards his locker. As Tommy changed, he tried very hard not to think about Angel doing the same.
