"I guess that's true. Because some of the hair you see on TV is just plain scary. Especially the whole thing with pink... I don't get that," Josh said. "Why would you want your hair to look like cotton candy?"
"You okay?" Josh asked.

"Your guess is as good as mine." Stevie said with a shrug when he asked why anyone would want their hair to look like cotton candy. When he asked her if she was ok, she blinked. He must have seen her wince.
"Oh, I'm ok." She assured him. "I just have a bit of a bad back is all." She shrugged. Truth be told, she was tall and thin, both tended to put strain on her back. She also was sleeping on a couch that was no where big enough to fit her. That put together with the physical activities she did everyday, her back just wasn't in its best condition.

"Ow. Sounds painful," Josh said. "But it makes sense... my back hurt from sleeping on a couch. So yours must hurt a lot, since you sleep there all the time." Josh glanced down at his watch. "Crap. I need to go. I have to get back to the house before my aunt does. She doesn't exactly know I left, and my family's kinda weird about that."

"I'll survive." Stevie said with a smile. "I think I'm gonna look into one of those space savers. Maybe we could do that instead of trying to move..I dunno." She shrugged. When he said he had to go, she nodded.
"You got it." She held her hand out for his application so she could make sure to tuck it away somewhere where her boss would see it.
"Come on." She said jangling her keys. "I'll get ya home and now one will now the wiser you've been gone." she smiled.

"Hey, you shouldn't give up on the moving idea. It can't be fun living in the main room of that apartment," Josh replied. He handed Stevie his application with a smile. "Thanks for this, by the way. I've had fun this afternoon. You really didn't have to do any of this."

"It's not, but space savers might be more doable at the moment than moving. If we can't move for two years, it would be better to get the space saver and take it with us, than to keep sleeping on the couch." She pointed out.
Stevie smiled, tucking the application away with a note that said "Read it for Stevie" before turning back to him, and ushering him to the door.
"Sure." She said with a smile. "I know I didn't, but I'm afraid I'm a bit of the helpful sort. I'd love to hang out again sometime. And I'm sure I'll see you at school." And she headed out the door.
((Stevie Out to wherever lol))

"Good point." Josh followed Stevie out, knowing that going home would mean he would have to unpack. His aunt was a bit of a neat freak. "Well thanks. It was really nice of you to help me out like this."
