Ok...Cathrine had some things to think about. She had gone to that GSA meeting and came out with feelings that she knew her friends wouldn't like. She was almost feeling sorry...for gays? That the way they were treated seemed a little bad? They'd NEVER listen to that! So, she had to ethier hide her feelings and stay popular and have that yucky feeling inside of her or tell and become and outcast.
"I hate drama," she muttered as she walked into the store. Shopping always seemed to help when she had a problem.

"Yes, I'll be home by...what time?" Allison made a sour face. Six? That was less than fourty minutes! Thiugh she couldn't say she was surprised. "Okay...okay. Six...fifteen...? Okay, six," she sighed deeply, shutting her phone. Well...she could do tons in half an hour...really.
Allison looked down a bit. Was that...Cathrine Moor? She recognized the girl from school...she wished she could look down. But it really wouldn't be polite. She'd heard bad things about Cathrine...but it couldn't all be true...
"Cathrine?" she asked, smiling at the girl.

Cathrine turned around and smiled when she saw Allison. Allison...wasn't she that rich girl? Hey....they should be shopping buddies! Allison dressed nice enough...and was rich.
"Hi Allison," she said, "What's up?"

"Oh...nothing really," Allison said. The key was to be pleasent. No matter what...unfavourable things you'd heard about a person. "Just shopping a little. How about you?"

"Really?" said Cathrine, acting surprised, "What a coencidence! Me too! Hey," she said, acting as if she had just thought of the idea, "We should shop together! It'd be fun!"

"Oh! Well..." Allison trailed off. She ahd to be polite. And what could it harm, really? Cathrine seemed nice enough... "Sure. I'd like that..."

"YAY!" said Cathrine with a smile, "Hey, I've heard you're kinda rich," she said casually, "Is that true? Why aren't you at some private school, then?" Didn't really rich kids go to private schools normally?

"Oh...well, yes..." Allison replied. What was Cathrine getting at? Or was she just over-analyzing. Cathrine might've just been curious. "My father is. But I go here because...it's nice here. It's close to home, and it's not like it's a pit. I mean, hey, the Himmelfarb family goes here too," she added.

Cathrine had to grin...so, she was right to think Allison was rich! Great! Now she could shop with her since she had so much money!
"I guess," said Cathrine with a shurg, "Hey, do you like pink?" She HAD to know! If anyone was gonna be her shopping buddy they really HAD to like pink.

"Um...yeah. It's okay," Allison nodded. It wasn't her favourite. But she didn't really have anything against it. Not in small doses, anyway.

"Great!" said Cathrine happily, "Then you'll like the place we're going!" she then grabed Alison's hand and led her to a store and by looking in the window, you could clearly see that almost everything was...pink.

Allison barely had time to wish her corneas goodbye. "Wow..it's certainly..." she paused, searching for a word. "Vibrant?" she tried to smile. The store was bright and completely monochromatic. How does Cathrine stand this?

"I know," said Cathrine, nodding happily, "Isn't it great!" She smiled and walked into the store...there was just something about pink that made her very happy.

To each her own. To each her own. To each her own... Allison repeated the sentence in her mind. But why did Cathrine have to try and force her own onto others? It wasn't unbareable and she stayed pleasent, but she really hoped she wasn't expected to buy anything. Pink was nice in small doses.

"I know," said Cathrine, with joy, "Too stunned from joy to speak, right?" She instantly squealed in joy as she walked in and saw a bright, pink skirt. She instantly grabbed it and held it up to herself. "What do ya think of this?" She asked with a smile.
