Dwayne bit his lip. Of course she was right, as much as part of him hated to admit it. "Are you sure we should wait? It might be torture" he responded jokingly. If it weren't so dark that she wouldn't be able to see it, he would have winked to add to the "just kidding" message he was trying to send.

Lilly smiled softly, resting her chin in her hand. "You have a point. It just may be torture. I could tell you a million times how I feel and it still wouldn't be enough." She sighed. This was so...cute- there was no other word for it. Except maybe 'romantic'.

Dwayne sighed, shaking his head. "You can say that again." He glanced back up with a wry smile on his face. "But you're probably right. Taking it a bit slower would probably be worth it..."

Lilly glanced down below the window, seeing the large trellis. She smiled and shook her head slowly as she looked back towards Dwayne. "Come up here," she coaxed. "Come and kiss me goodnight."

Dwayne followed her gaze to the trellis. At her request, he walked a bit closer. "Okay..." Biting his lip, he started climbing up, internally laughing at how much like a movie this was becoming. What was next? He finally managed to get up and he got a good look at her. A wide smile on his face, he kissed her lightly.

"Not so fast," Lilly scolded, taking his hand. She tried to encourage him to come sit on the windowseat with her. Okay, it was her room. Technically. But that didn't mean he'd have to come any further than the cushion, did it? No.

Dwayne chuckled. "Ah, I should've anticipated that" he commented as he settled himself on the windowseat. "Nicely decorated..." he observed after a quick once over of her room. His concentration was mainly on her anyway.

Lilly giggled softly. She was glad that things didn't get awkward. She scooted a little closer to him and kissed him- just as gently as before, but longer. Much longer.

Dwayne returned the kiss, wrapping his arms around her shoulder. He wasn't sure why he never seemed to get awkward in these sort of situations. It was just the way he was, he supposed. Which was a good thing, because he didn't want to mess this up by being immature. And kissing her was just too good to pass up.

Lilly looped her arms around his neck and into his hair, scooting closer. She felt so safe, regardless of being close to an open window about fifteen feet off of the ground. She wondered why lots of girls she knew complained about this. How could they? It was absolutely perfect.

Dwayne sighed a bit, holding the kiss for a few more moments before pulling away. He brushed a bit of her hair out of her face. "Goodnight" he whispered. He didn't want it to be over, but the last thing they needed was to get caught in this position.

"Don't go," Lilly pleaded, stroking his face. "Please don't go..." She layed kisses all over his face, trying to convince him to stay. "Not yet..."

Dwayne felt extremely tempted to just stay. Still, he had to retain some reason, even if this whole situation defied it. "You know I want to...but you'll see me tomorrow. Plus, I'll be less likely to get you grounded" he pointed out. He twirled a bit of her hair with his finger.

Lilly brushed her nose against his gently. "Are you sure you can't stay just a little bit longer? For me?" She knew he really should go...but she didn't care all that much. She kissed him softly again, trying to convince him further. He wasn't gone yet, so that was a good sign.

Dwayne knew that his argument was doomed from the start. After all, he wanted to stay too much. He smiled weakly after she kissed him. "Okay, I'll stay for a bit longer..." He kissed her in return, holding her a bit more tightly.
