Lilly unbuckled her seatbelt as she watched them pull up. "Who knows?" she said, answering Dwayne's earlier remark. "You won't know until she goes. If she goes. Sorry I'm being so negative. But we're here now, so...what do you want to do?"

Dwayne smiled weakly. "No, you're being realistic. I appreciate that. It balances this whole thing out." He glanced toward her, starting to smirk. He took her hand gently. "Well...I doubt you want to go in right away..."

"I already told you I didn't," Lilly reminded him, looking him over. "What did you have in mind? It looks like something...You have that look on your face like nobody in the world could have a better idea than you do right now. I'm a little curious as to what it is." She raised an interested eyebrow, a flirty smile splashed across her face.

Dwayne chuckled a bit. "Well...I don't know about that." He leaned in closer, his hands moving to her shoulders before he kissed her. It wasn't until a while later that he'd realized that it carried more emotion than usual. Right now, he wasn't thinking about how he felt, besides how glad (hardly the right word, of course) he was to have her around.

While he kissed her, Lilly noticed something different. She couldn't exactly put her finger on it but knew it was there nonetheless. It was good different, not bad different, but it drove her nuts that she couldn't figure out what it was. She leaned against the passenger's side car door, placing her hands on either side of his neck. He really was a good kisser.

Dwayne smiled against her lips and his arms dragged down to her waist. He could sense her seemingly wracking her brain over something. He pulled away for a moment, looking toward her inquisitively. "You okay Lilly?"

A shiver ran up Lilly's spine as she felt his hands on her waist. She smiled softly at him and leaned her forehead against his. "Don't worry, I'm fine. You wanna kiss me again? I think I'd like that."

Dwayne smiled a bit. "Okay good. I want you to be happy, of course." His smile widened at her request and he held her a bit tighter before kissing her again. His doubt was dissolving in that moment. He did love her. Now there was another problem; would he wind up scaring her off? Dwayne, I know you do this because you care, but for God's sake, don't worry about it now! Following his own advice, he just kissed her passionately.

"Oh," Lilly whispered involuntarily, her body pressing against his. Too much too fast? Maybe, but she didn't care. She was too indescribably happy to care. Good thing they weren't in her house, though, or she'd have some 'splainin to do.

Dwayne ran his hands through her hair lightly, suddenly relieved that they had some privacy for the time being. But if her parents noticed his car and knew...oh boy, were they going to be screwed. Still, he kept his focus on Lilly. Dazzling, intelligent, witty, beautiful Lilly. Now that wouldn't be too hard.

Don't look out the window now, Mom, don't look out the window, Lilly thought as hard as she could. That would suck if her mom busted them. She kept her attention on Dwayne (it was hard not to). Her hands rubbed his neck softly as he kissed her- her aim was to make him as comfortable as possible.

Dwayne internally sighed. Okay...yes this does beat everything... He didn't care that his life experience may be too limited for that to be true. It felt that way. It was better than anything. He finally broke away from her for a moment to get a few breaths of air in. He stroked her cheek with his finger, just smiling toward her.

Lilly's teeth hung onto her red-raw lip gently, a soft blush crossing her cheeks. "That was fun," she offered, her voice joining the sound of their labored breathing. She wondered how far they might go one day- the thought, for once, didn't scare her. It was almost encouraging.

"Definite understatement...but as we haven't gone through dictionaries yet, that will have to do for a description," Dwayne whispered, laughing a bit. He pressed his forehead against hers lightly, kissing her again. He cradled her face in his hands before pulling away slowly. "Or maybe we don't really need a description?"

"I think the idea is that it was an understatement. Sarcasm, I think they call it." Lilly smiled. "Or maybe it's not the right time for sarcasm. Maybe...maybe it's time for something else while we still have time for it," she whispered softly. She leaned forward, pressing her lips against his neck.
