The Gov, of New York is going to purpose same-sex marriage for his state. He says that he's pretty sure that it will be shot down, but he saying it anyway b/c it's something he believes in. 
No matter what happens, it's a step in the right direction.

Oh! And if you haven't, join the Human Rights Campagin you should. They will send you e-mails and you can sign petitions and write letters to your congress person which will get things done. It's a pretty awesome thing and thanks Kendall for pointing it out. Here's the site... www.hrc.org/
There's also other organizations that do the same that I'm a part of. You got Save Darfur and the One Website. Save Darfur is about stopping the genocide in Darfur. And then the One is something which I figure most of you would know. If not, it's a group that tries to end poverty in Africa and all around the world. All of these sites are awesome because you can sign and send petitions to the people that matter really easily. They do ask for donations everyonce in a while, but you never have to. It's pretty awesome to know that you're working for something good.
