Roger opened the door and didn't see anyone in the living room. He usually checked the house to make sure no one was hiding. "Hey Rae, Carson!" He yelled to see if they were in their rooms. His mom wasn't home yet so she was probably working overtime again.

Raelyn had just finished all her homework for the next day and was reading a book on her bed. She heard someone come home and then heard a voice, it was Roger's. She put down her book, ran down stairs and gave her brother a hug. It wasn't unusual for her to give him a hug because she always did when he came home.
When she was little, Roger got mad at their mom and decided to run away. Rae was terrfied of the thought of Roger leaving home again. So she started giving him hugs when he came home to make sure he was there.

Carson was in her room. She was studing her script but she took a break to watch the movie on the small TV in her room that her parents had given her so she could watch all her musicals in her room (and not anoy them or her brother or sister with them). She had been home from school for a while and had already finished her homework. She heard the front door open and she thought for a minute it was her mother. Then she remembered her mother was working late and heard Roger yell. She paused her tape and walked quickly to the sound of Roger's voice. She gave him a hug. Carson then smiled brightly at her brother and sister.

Roger gave both his sisters a hug and smiled. "So tell me what have you guys been doing while I was not home?" He asked. He went to the kitchen to get a glass of water, he wondered if he should call April later or what. After getting his glass of water, he saw a note left by his mom for him, 'Roger, I'm going to be late again tonight, please watch over your sisters and don't stay up too late. Love, Mom.'

Raelyn looked at her brother and smiled, "Uh just homework and reading..nothing much." Besides having a guy on your mind for almost the whole day... She went back to the living room and settled down on the couch. Raelyn was tired but she loved spending time with her family.

Carson smiled at Roger. "Just watchin' My Fair Lady.....again. I am going to know the movie better than anyone. Oh and I have been studying my lines. I'm not good yet....I mean I don't have them memorized but I've got the accent down and two songs." She wandered into the living room and sat on the opposite side of the couch as Raelyn.

"Ah seems like much hasn't been going on but sorry I was home so late. Everything was okay right?" He asked. He hoped that nothing was wrong because then he would get blamed for it by their mom.
"Well I'm going to go up to my room and take a shower. Then I'll probably do some homework but if you guys need anything just knock on my door." He silently went up the stairs and entered his bedroom. He was lucky to have a bathroom connected to his room and it was his own.

"Yep everything was fine for me.." She said smiling at her brother. She watched him go upstairs and yawned. "So Carson how was your day?" She asked. Raelyn knew that she would have to get an early start tomorrow and study for all her tests but she decided to procrastinate.

"Yep,"Carson said, agreeing with her sister, "Everything's fine." She smiled at her brother. "Kay, Rog." she said when he said he'd be upstairs if they needed anything. "It was okay, Rae." she said, "Just having an extremely hard time learning lines and the accent for My Fair Lady but I should be okay. How about yours?" She smiled at her sister.

Roger opened the door to his bathroom and he felt the cool refreshing air. He jumped on his bed and stared at the ceiling, just thinking about April. His gaze drifted toward his window and smiled. Grabbing his guitar, he opened the window and climbed on the roof. He always did this when he was younger when he needed to escape reality. But this time, he just wanted to write a great song.
