April was currently reading through her script, highlighting her lines with a bright orange marker. She was extremely excited for getting Golde. She hadn't seen Fiddler in a while, but she knew enough to know that she fit the role. It was a little interesting how Roger was playing Perchik, but she'd live with it. She was sure people would make jokes, but whatever. It wasn't like she was really married to Tommy. Just the idea was laughable. He was great, but it just wouldn't work.

Tommy walked in the room still in shock. He figured that they'd throw him in the back of the theatre just to appease him. Maybe hold onto his voice, Angel told him it was good...so he figured it had to be true. If Angel said it. But this...the lead. He didn't know if he'd survive it. But hey, the show was fun.
"April?" Tommy asked with a smile. "Hey girl. So we're hitched? How's Roger taking the news?" He took a seat next to her and unrolled the script he was carrying in his hand. Ever since his locker was flooded, he was forced to carry around papers as if they were a part of the holy grail.

April glanced up and laughed slightly at Tommy's statement. "Well, Roger's taking it like a man and not in the psycho jealous way. I'm rather proud of him, honestly. I almost thought he was going to hunt you down and lay down the ground rules" she explained jokingly. "Anyways, just going over my lines."

Tommy laughed quietly and nodded. "I wouldn't put it past the boy. But you know if he don't back off than there is no way in hell that I'm gonna let him marry our daughter. I'll suppose we'll have to strike up some kind of bargin," He explained. That was one thing he was looking forward to, having that kind of relationship with Roger. Tyeve and Perchik were friends from the start. The whole marriage thing came later.
"And I would keep wary, Angel might lay down some ground rules of his own," Tommy pointed out with a wink. He pulled over a chair to prop his feet up. "Groovy. You think you gonna be able to handle them? I'm hoping that the whole sleeping with it under my pillow will work."

"Exactly. So Roger has to be nice to you, otherwise the whole plot will be messed up" April agreed, laughing all the way. She shook her head a bit, blowing some of her hair out of her face again. "God, I'm glad all the female characters cover their heads. It'll stop these pesky bangs from flying in my eyes in between scenes."
"Angel? Sweet Angel laying ground rules for me?" April faked an offended gasp. "And here I thought he'd trust me. Tsk tsk..." Getting a bit more serious, she stated "Sure I will. I'm good with these things. Plus, I might try your method too." She chuckled at the thought.

Cathrine stormed into the room angerliy. April...she stole her part! That part rightfully belonged to her! She was popular, pretty, cool...everything April wasn't.
"APRIL!" she said inraged, "YOU STOLE MY PART! That part was supposed to be MINE!!! But, I have to play a girl named Fruma! What kinda name is Fruma!?"

April jumped when she heard the yelling, but then rolled her eyes. "Oh dear. I'm going to have to call the Psycho Police, because someone has obviously broken out of the asylum" she responded simply. "Look, I don't make the decisions in casting. Obviously, they found me better suited. Besides, Fruma Sarah's a good part. She gets to threaten to strangle one of the main girls." Not unlike what I wish I could do to you little miss she thought.

"I'm not physco..." she said, flipping her blonde hair back, "But the casting directors are apparantly. I don't care if I get to threaten to strangle, I wanted to be the lead so I could kiss a hot guy," she said with a pout.

April scoffed. "You realize that Golde and Tevye never kiss to begin with? Even the daughters have very limited kissing scenes. This is a very...well, I shouldn't say nonromantic, but not entirely romantic play" she pointed out. God, did this girl know NOTHING?

"WHAT!" said Cathrine and gasped in shook, "But...all lead girls in a play should get to kiss a hot guy! Of course I knew the daughters would get limited kissing scenes," she said, "They were the ones who wanted to marry the 62 year old and the drunk-abusive man, right?" she asked, "You know, that won't beat her unless he's sober?"

Tommy chuckled. "Yeah I guess it works. Your hair looks fine," He said waving his hand. "Oh I didn't say that Angel wouldn't be blushing as he lay down the rules but he'd do something of the sort for sure...."
Then he watched Catherine come into the room. So much for a nice conversation. "Yeah...April's right Catherine. And guess what, I'm the lead. So even if it was one of those kissing plays I would rather kiss a donkey." He said with an overly sweet smile. "No offense of course." Tommy heard Angel tsking him in his head. Thankfully, Angel wasn't there...

Josh walked into the green room and sighed. He'd looked over his script and it didn't appear that he had to do too much. Well, other than sing an entire song by himself. But that wouldn't be too bad. After all, he'd been in several shows at his old school, and had even been one of the main characters in Brigadoone the year before.
Josh looked around and smiled at the other occupants of the room, realizing that he had probably just walked into the middle of something. "Did I miss something interesting?" he asked, hoping to lighten the mood of the room.

April's face fell at Cathrine's question. "Cathrine...Tzeital was making fun of her sisters in that monologue! She's trying to say how Yente will set them up with everyone so long as they pay her!"
She glanced toward the boy who walked in. "Sort of, yes. You missed an airhead whining. Be glad."
((Sure, I have no objections.))

Cathrine glared at Tommy. "It's only beacuse I'm a girl," she said, rolling her eyes, "If you were a normal guy and liked girls...you'd be begging to kiss me!"
"Really?" said Cathrine, then groaned in annoyance, "Well, I wish someone would've told me!" she whined, "Then I probably would've gotten the part then! And what does any of this have to do with a fiddler on a roop anyway! And I'm not an airhead!" she said with a glare toward April.
