April groaned. How ignorant was this girl going to get?! "You know, you really should look up background info on plays before you audition! The fiddler is a metaphor! Basically, all the characters are fiddlers on the roof because they're trying to balance between tradition and fitting in in a modern world! You are an airhead!"
((Time to slow down!))

((fine with me))
"Define normal," Josh said, smiling sweetly at the girl who seemed to be throwing a fit. It was all he could do to keep from laughing at her outburst. She was attempting to say that she wasn't an airhead, yet she was asking a really stupid question. He just shook his head and began going over the words to Miracle of Miracles again.

Roger walked in, reading over his script. I can't believe I actually got the part He smiled to himself and looked up. He saw April, Tommy, this girl and guy. He walked over to them, "Hey Tommy!" He went to April and kissed her on the cheek, "Hey April."

"Why should I?" Cathrine asked April, crossing her arms, "All I know is that leads are SUPPOSED to equal hot guys and kissing...so, I try out for the lead. And what does balancing life got to do with fiddling?" she asked seriously with a blink.
"THe defention of normal is everything April isn't," said Cathrine to Josh

Josh raised an eyebrow and looked back up at Cathrine. "I don't think that really tells me anything. Care to elaborate?" he asked. He had a feeling that he could really have some fun at the girl's expense. And she seemed like the type who should get a taste of her own medicine. At least, that's what he'd heard from Lilia.
"And having a lead doesn't always mean that you get to kiss someone. In Les Mis, Jean Valjean is a lead and he doesn't kiss anyone. Neither does Javert. And Valjean's story is the main plot," he said. He smirked at her. "The Thenardiers never kiss, and they're married."

He went to April and kissed her on the cheek, "Hey April." April's mood immediately improved when she saw Roger. "Hey" she greeted him, kissing him lightly. "Congratulations! I can't believe we both got parts!" She suddenly glanced toward Josh and Cathrine, rather interested in what the outcome of their encounter would be. Perhaps a taste of her own medicine was in Cathrine's future?

"Only the cries of a disallusioned girl who has yet to come to terms with reality," Tommy said to the boy with the curly hair as he came in. "So...in one word...naw." He then looked over at Catherine and chuckled under his breath. "Then I'm thanking my lucky stars that I ain't normal."
He smiled seeing Roger but tensed up slightly. They hadn't gotten around to actually talking since homecoming. Waves in the hallways but nothing beyond that. Did he see Tommy and Angel....well if he didn't he might need to get his eyes checked. Would he care? Well I guess it's a good start, Tommy said to himself, he at least greeted me. "Hey Rog," He waved to his friend and looked down at his hands.
"Les Mis?" Tommy asked. "Good book. Hunchback of Notre Dame was better though. Funny as hell. A dude ran off with a goat!"

Cathrine glared at Tommy and Josh. "All I'm saying is," she said, "What's the point of a play if the lead doesn't kiss a hot person? I mean, that's the whole reason people join theater in the first place! and what's this Les Mis you're talking about?"
"And," Cathrine said, "Normal is not a guy running with a goat," she smirked at Tommy. "Normal is always wearing the hottest fashion and of course, guys not being all weird and dating guys and girls not being all weird and dating girls. Chess players. Seriously...they're nerds...they all have whiny voices, nerdy glasses and wear thier pants WAY to high up." She shuddered, "It's disgusting and makes me wonder where the world is going. Oh, and normal is NOT being a little geek who thinks she knows everything but clearly DOESN'T!!!" she said with a glare towards April at the last sentence.

Josh sighed and shook his head. "A play is art. That's the point," Josh said. He was starting to see why Cathrine annoyed Lilia.
"Glad I'm not normal, then," Josh said. He turned to look at Tommy. "I wouldn't want to have to live like that. Because then I wouldn't be allowed to date Chris. My boyfriend," he said, turning back to Cathrine with a smirk.
"A goat, huh? Sound pretty interesting. I'll have to read that one some time," he replied. "I'm Josh, by the way. Lilia's cousin," he said, extending his hand to Tommy.

April actually let out a small growl. "It's art. Josh is right. Thank God someone has sense. And I don't think I know everything. I do know everything, compared to what you know, Miss. Low IQ."

Roger smiled, "Yea, I'm shocked that I actually auditioned and I got the part I tried for. I know you will be great!" When he looked at Tommy, he seemed a bit awkward. Was something wrong, well he would just have to talk to him later. He looked at this girl with digust, "I would just back off already, it's obvious who needs to get a life around here."

Tommy watched Catherine and just shook her head. "I thought you actually got a clue when Angel helped you at the dance. Apparently I was wrong about that. What a pity." He looked over to Josh and nodded. "And it's fun. Being someone else. Unless they're...someone..." He coughed holding back the need to say if they were like Catherine.
"Ah," Tommy nodded. "Welcome to the non...normal club." He looked at Roger from the corner of his eye.
He sighed and stood up. "Look Catherine, it's obvious that no one wants to hear you rant in here so why don't you go take your complaint to someone who listens and or gives a damn?"

Cathrine frowned. Why was everyone against her!? "I DON'T have a low IQ!" she said, "Everyone knows a play's just an exuse to kiss a hot guy! It's not art...that's where you draw, du!"
"And I DO have a life!" said Cathrine to Roger, "Probably more of one than you do if you're haniging out with HER!" she said with a glare to April.
"What?" said Cathrine with a blink. At the dance, she was sad about not being happy and Angel tried to help...it wasn't very good, but still. She still had to wonder why Angel and Tommy where so damn happy! "That has nothing to do with this," she said, "And you should give a damn," she said with a pout, "'Cause what I'm sayin is true!"

Josh shook his head at Cathrine's response and looked down at the ground. "I'm at a loss for words," he replied. He looked up at her with an expression of absolute shock. "You've just done what I thought was impossible. You said something so ridiculously stupid I can't even come up with a decent response."
Josh smiled at Tommy. "Glad to know I'm not the only one," he said.

Roger basically glared at her. He gave her one of his cold looks and he was getting angry. "Well if a play is an excuse to kiss a hot guy, apparently they thought you weren't good enough to even kiss anyone," He paused slightly, letting his anger out, "If you have a life, you wouldn't be here arguing with us...so please take your stinking attitude someplace else." He really couldn't take it at the moment but tried to suppress his anger.
