Lilia walked into rehearsal and sighed. She was not at all happy about being stuck in rehearsal all afternoon. But at least she would be in rehearsal with Eric, which would make it not quite as bad. Not that they would get to really talk to each other.
Lilia walked down to the orchestra pit and dropped her bag next to her seat and started pulling out her violin. She checked the instrument to see if it was in tune and then looked around, sighing. It was going to be a long afternoon.

So he wasn't as late as he thought, which was a relief. It wouldn't have been a huge deal, but it was easier not to have to explain himself. The students in the pit were already warming up, and there weren't a huge lot of kids dtanding around with him. With a sigh, Angel sat down, crossing his legs. More people would show up soon...hopefully...hopefully people he knew.

Caroline tried to sneak in the pit as she was running a little later than she would like. Dwayne. He was always distracting her. The only boy who seemed to have that ability. When she got into the pit, she took out her trumpet nonchalantly and looked up with a sigh. There was Lilia. She waved to the girl and then turned to see who else was there. A smile covered her face when she saw Angel. Caroline waved to him.

Lilia sighed and looked up. She waved back at Caroline, and then proceeded to look around for Eric. She spotted Angel sitting down waiting for other members of the crew to show up, but they were the only two people there she knew. She pulled out her music and began plucking the strings of her violin, to give herself some idea of what her part sounded like. She was thankful that it was pretty easy. At least she wouldn't have to practice the part too much.

Eric walked slowly into the pit, not really wanting to be there. He'd much rather be going home right now, but he'd signed up, so he had to do it. He looked around the room quickly, seeking out Lilia. He hoped like hell that she was already there, because ther first two people he saw - Angel and Caroline - were not people he wanted to spend any time with. Or near. But that last part was unavoidable.
He finally spied Lilia, tuning her violin, and hurried toward her pointedly ignoring the other two people in the pit. "Hey Lilia," he said quietly as he sat beside her, placing a quick kiss on her lips, "I'm glad you're here." He didn't elaborate further, just watched her tune. "You know, I don't think I've ever heard you play that before. I bet you're great!"

Benny hurried into the pit, thinking he was late. He was relieved to see that there were only a handful of other people there. Slowing his pace, he glanced around. He noticed Eric and Lilia sitting together, and his eyes narrowed, Eric being high on his list of who he believed had trashed Tommy's locker. But play rehearsal was not a place to be dealing with that; he'd just make sure that he kept an eye on him.
Smiling and saying hello to Caroline, he made his way across the room and sat down beside him. "Hey," he said quietly, almost feeling like he was in a library and couldn't speak louder than a whisper. "How's Tommy? He never called to let me know how he was doing."

Joanne hurried in, trying not to trip over anything or draw attention to herself. She hurried over to where the other students had gathered and spotted Benny, giving him a quick wave she settled into the nearest possible seat. She gave Caroline a brilliant smile, but did not want to distract her from the friends she was already with.

((I'm guessing Benny was addressing Angel...if not I'll delete this and you can withhold cookies from me )) Angel waved to Caroline as she entered, and sat back as Eric did. There was no reason to feel uneasy...none at all. He was just a gianormous homophobe who may or may not have trashed Tommy's locker. It was fine. But he kept to himself until Benny sat down beside him, and he felt better. "Hi," he said softly, raising his head. Eric was in the pit. "Oh...he's much better now. Tons," he added with a smile as a thought came to him. He'd have to tell Caroline about what they'd done. And Mimi...

Caroline had to smile when Eric came in. It was sooo obvious that the only reson he was involved in this was to get closer to Lilia. If she wasn't in such a good mood, she would have pointed this out to the girl. Then again, she seemed to be so head over heals for him, she probably wouldn't care what Caroline had to say. She winked at Angel knowing that she would have to corner him and ask for details later.
"Hi, Benny," She said pleasently to him. Then when Joanne came in she sat up straight in her chair and waved back. She smirked seeing Joanne sitting there among strangers...there was no need for that, "Come here," She mouthed waving to her.

Joanne felt a happy blush creep into her cheeks when Caroline beckoned her over. Even surrounded by a lot of friends, she still wanted her close by. She stood and moved as smoothly as she could over. No need to burst into a gallop to get to her, and embarss them both. She slipped into the seat closest to her, before leaning forward slightly to greet her more properly.
"Hi." She greeted sweetly

Lilia smiled at Eric when he sat down next to her. "Glad to see you made it," she said, putting down her violin. She rolled her eyes when he said something about her being great at it. "Only because my mother forces me to practice almost constantly. If I had a choice, I wouldn't ever touch the thing again for the rest of my life," she replied. She reached out and took his hand in her own before she spoke again. "I need to talk to you after the meeting," she said, smiling slightly. She didn't want to let on about the bomb she was about to drop.

Eric squeezed Lilia's hand. "Well, whatever the reason, I can't wait to hear you," he said with a grin. He nodded when Lilia said she needed to speak to him. "Sure, Lil," he said, then looked around, "Doesn't look like anyone's here to direct us. You want to talk now? We have a few minutes at least." In truth, Eric simply wasn't interested in this rehearsal. He didn't want to be there, didn't want to be involved at all. So the more time he could spend with Lilia the better. It meant he didn't have to have anything to do with the... other people... who were there.

((You got it. Smart girl! Guess that's what happens when my brain works faster than my fingers Cookies for you for figuring it out!!!)) Benny noticed the way Angel looked at Eric and felt another flash of anger. It irritated him to no end the way some people behaved. Eric being high on his list of those people. He kept his voice light, though, as he spoke to Angel. "That's good. I was worried about him. Can't believe someone would do that to him." He paused a moment, regarding Angel. "I'm glad he has you, you know. I think you're just what he needs."

((yay! ;D))
"I know...me neither," Angel sighed. It wasn't like Tommy had done anything. Some people...just needed a hobby. To let people live their own lives. Was it really that hard? He couldn't fight a smile at Benny's comment. "You think? I hope," he replied.
