So what is this site about?
This is an Alternative Universe take on the musical/movie RENT. All of the RENT characters are here, but younger and still learning who they are. Instead of living in NYC they are in a suburbia known as Scarsdale which is home of Scarsdale High. All of our characters will attend this school and deal with all the dramas of the time and age. To make things easier, this takes place in modern times instead of the 80's or 70's.
Still confused?
If you need some extra help, you can visit fanfiction.net and click on Misc and then RENT. There are many RENT highschool fics that you could read to get a better understanding. Shameless promoting, "Are We the Waiting" is my own take (EloraCooper4 is my pen name).
What about teachers and actual classes you may ask?
I've seen rps that actually hand out homework, and frankly I just find that scary. Most of us got enough of that in real life
So don't worry about the actual classes. As for teachers, there will be a list of teachers that work at Scarsdale High. If you need to use for a bit, feel free to. They will be common characters that all can use. Visit "Teachers for RENT" thread for more info.
