Hey all,
So I've been wondering if we should change the format around. Give your two cents. What would make you post more? Or would one make you post less? Chose an option of just comment. Thanks!
Option one: What we have. One thread in the normal rp area, then one in the special area.
Option two: One thread at school area, one thread off campus, then one in the special area.
Option three: Unlimited threads.
If you have another idea, feel free to post here.

I think unlimited threads would get a little crazy! But three per character sounds good. Option 2

I voted for option 3, but I have a suggestion that would be a little bit better. Have a max of, say, six threads per character with no specifications as to where. That's how it works on one of the other sites I post on, and it works really well.

I voted Option 2, but I also like Lilia's idea. That way, people won't feel restricted (for lack of a better word), but things won't get out of hand either.

Okay, here is what we're going to do. We're going to go for Option 2 for a few months and see how that goes. When September rolls around (it'll be the new semester here by then) we can see if we like this format or would like to go with Emily's suggestion. I'm kinda partial to that one too but I do want to give the three thread one a try.
So here's how it will work!
1 Thread in the School or on Campus sections (ie. Scarsdale Highschool, Himmelfarb Building, and On Campus boards)
1 Thread in the Off Campus sections (ie. Off Campus boards)
1 Thread in the Special Area (i.e. Fiddler boards. FYI, Fiddler is not going to last too much longer. Just to warn you. We'll do a few more weeks of rehershals, then do the preformance, then a event. Send ideas if you have them.)
***Also*** I'm in stating a new rule as follows:
Sometimes remembering all of the threads that you're in can be impossible. But now, this new thread might help. In the RPG section there will be a thread called "Thread Count." In this thread you must indicate what threads you are in at the moment.
For example: Say I'm Caroline doing my thread count.
On Campus: "Painting in the Autumn Sun"- Courtyard
Off Campus: the 99 Cent Menu is my God- Smittys
Special Event: Crew Rehearsal- Rehearsal threads
So there you have it. I have written down all of the threads that Caroline is in. That means if I forget where I need to post I have it written down. However! If you are switching threads you need to fix your thread count post. For example, Tommy just left the Football Stadium and is heading to the gym.
So his thread count page would look like this first:
On Campus: One...Two...Three- Stadium
And then when I joined Lilia in the gym, I go back to my thread count and change it to this:
On Campus: Really Hating Gym Class- the Gym.
It's up to you to be on top of this. The mods and I will be making periodical checks about this so make sure you're up on it.
So do you have to be in three threads at a time? Well, I'm not gonna force you, but you know rping is fun haha. Feel free to take a section off, but not to the point where you are barely active.
There we have it folks. I'm going to pm this to everyone as well as leave it in the New Format thread. As of now, we have a new format and the Thread Count thread is waiting for everyone. If you have any questions, send me a pm.
Katie
