Dwayne chuckled lightly. "Lilly, it's fine. I actually feel extremely comfortable here." He kissed her on the cheek, squeezing her shoulders as he sent her a large smile. "And I don't think you're bony at all. And I doubt you're going to believe me at all, so I'm prepared for you saying I'm wrong."

Lilly laughed as well. "That's good then, right? And you know what? I think I might just believe you this time. You deserve it. At least once, anyway."

Dwayne smiled weakly. "I really appreciate that one. Besides, you should believe it when I give you a compliment. You deserve that. And it's very good, believe me."

Lilly sighed contendedly. Leaning back, she rested her head on his shoulder. "I don't want that bell to ring, Dwayne...make it not ring! I want to just sit here forever..." she whispered, taking his hand softly.

Dwayne was pretty sure his heart leapt at her statement. "I wish I could..." he whispered, tracing his lips on her cheek. "If I could, you know that I'd just keep it from ringing. Most of our peers would probably appreciate it anyway...but I don't want to move from this spot." He squeezed her hand as well.

Lilly closed her eyes weakly, breathing deeply. "I know that you would...I know..." She relaxed, her hand resting in his. "I wish it would snow...maybe they'd call off school..."

Dwayne grinned lightly. "That'd be nice...so long as there's no ice. Trust me, I slip on it so easily, it's not even funny." He chuckled as he held her closer and kissed her on the forehead. "Besides, it'd be fun, most likely. Right?"

((*squee*))
"Depends on whether it's the powder or the good stuff. I obviously like the good stuff better. And don't worry, I'll be there. You won't fall too hard." Lilly smiled softly, stretching up slightly to kiss the underside of his chin.
((Um, Lilly's on her double-meaning patrol again))

((Yay for double meanings! They make the world go 'round!))
"Yeah, because otherwise, there's just no point. It's just there to look kind of nice. And I appreciate that..." He grinned at the thought that there was a good chance she meant that in more ways than one. Hugging her again, he kissed her lightly on the neck. Please don't let this end, please oh please...

((In more ways than one! *laughs*))
Lilly inhaled sharply, moving to kiss him. As she did so, the bell signaling that they had five minutes until their first class rang, and she left him abruptly. "I have to go," she pleaded, squeezing his hand. "Don't miss me too much. And that's an order," she added, briefly kissing him before standing and picking up her bag.

Dwayne smiled weakly. "All right, sure..." He returned the light kiss before pulling himself up. "I'll call you after school, okay?" He just hoped he wasn't coming on too strong. The last thing he wanted to do was chase her away.

"Okay. I'll be waiting." Lilly smirked and winked, and headed down the hallway to her art room. There was no way her mind would be even 1% focused on her schoolwork today.

Dwayne sighed softly as he watched her go. At least he had something to look forward to. He grinned lightly. From the looks of it, they were actually a thing. Still grinning he walked into the school, his thoughts still on Lilly.
