Eric stood at his locker, looking over his schedule. The only bright spot on his list was his gym class. The rest... well, he just had to keep reminding himself that he only had one more year. "As long as I can pass that damned math class." he muttered to himself. This would be his third time taking the course, and he wasn't expecting to have any easier a time than the last two years.
Sighing, he slammed his locker shut, spinning the combination lock with more force than necessary. And turned to head down the hallway. He wasn't going to let the math class get him down. He was a senior. And a damned fine senior, too, thank you very much. That thought cheered him up a little and he held himself a bit taller as he strode down the hallway, checking out the girls as he passed them.

Caroline carefully hung her bead curtains in her locker. When she spotted them in the thrift store, she knew that they would be perfect for her locker. And they were prefect. Enough to add some pazzaz to her less than pazzazzy life. She pulled down her books and carefully placed them in her bright purple back pack. "Now don't...don't break," She begged her bag. It often decided that she was carrying too many books and rebelled. The straps would quickly loosen and snap free. Not so good when she was running to class.
Caroline closed her locker and took a deep breath. "Class time." She noticed a few girls giggling and looking in one direction. Out of curiosity she looked to see what they were so interesed in. Eric. She should have known. Her mother kept trying to set her up with him. Their mothers had the special luck of their husbands spiltting leaving their single children just begging to be match made. Too bad her mother chose to ignore the fact her daughter was a lesbian.
"You making the girls swoon this early in the morning?" She asked the senior.

As Eric continued down the hall, he smiled to himself at the reaction he was getting from the girls. Winking at one particular group that looked like they must have been freshman, he heard them giggle as he passed. Satisfied that he had gotten their attention, he turned his focus to the next girl in the hallway. Then he stopped mid-stride. Caroline. He did not want to see Caroline. And he definitely did not want to be seen with Caroline.
Recovering, he began to walk down the hallway again, until he heard her speak. Never one to miss the opportunity to drum himself up - even if it was only to Caroline - he stopped once more. "What can I say," he said, smugly, "They know a good thing when they see it." He paused briefly before adding, "Your mom seems to think the same. You know she would be thrilled if you brought me home."

Caroline rolled her eyes. "Sure. You're a Ken doll smack dab out of the package. All you need is a pair of hawaiian swim trunks and plastic hair and you're right there," She smirked to herself. It was an idea that she had from the first time she saw him. She knew that he was the fantasy boy for most girls her age. But she did know, that even if she was interested in guys, she wouldn't have any interest in Eric.
"Oh yeah. Well you can marry my mom then. And sorry, you don't really fit the profile of the type of person I wanna bring home. More hips and less hair on the chest," Caroline explained in case he forgot.

Eric smirked at Caroline's description of him knowing full well she was being sarcastic. "I'm glad you're able to appreciate me, Caroline, although I think I have a bit more to offer than a Ken doll." he said, raising an eyebrow suggestively.
Now it was Eric's turn to roll his eyes, listening to her talk about liking girls. "Oh, that's right, you're a lesbian," he said with disdain. "Well, then, perhaps you could join me and my girl sometime." He leaned in close to whisper in her ear, "And there's no hair on this chest, sweet thing." Straightening up, he sneered down at her.

"More to offer?" Caroline started not following his thought process. Then it dawned on her and she smiled deeply. "Not much more to offer from what I've heard," She said fluttering her eyelashed at the older boy. Was it true? Well...Caroline wouldn't be surprised at least.
"Yes good job. You know you're vocabulary words. I forgot that you actually passed that class. Course you must have bought, like, all of your papers off the geeks. Classy." When he whispered in her ear she just raised her brow. "Ok I take it back. You don't understand the definition of a lesbian." She patted his shoulder. "Don't worry. Ask your mommy and I'm sure she'll point out the correct sections of the bible for you to attempt to read."

Nanette rolled her eyes as she saw Caroline and Eric bickering sarcastically with each other. The two pretty much wanted to kill each other, and yet they still went at it like sisters. "Children...do I need to seperate you?" Nan smirked as she strolled up to the side of Eric. Her Hollister bag hangy off her right shoulder. She wasn't quite friends with Caroline...but she knew Caroline from classes and the likes.

Eric's eyes narrowed darkly at the insult to his... anatomy, but he recovered quickly. "You keep telling yourself that, Caroline. But I haven't had any complaints, and they're always eager to come back for more." he said casually, leaning against a locker smugly.
"Of course I know what a lesbian is," he snapped, "And don't you ever lump me in with those religious wingnuts." He threatened, seething.
As Nanette approached, Eric tried to regain his cool. Caroline always had a knack for getting to him, and he wasn't about to let Nanette see that. Smiling his most sexy smile, he brushed off her comment about their bickering, saying "Oh, you know Caroline, babe." He looked her over from head to toe, slowly, and nodded "You're lookin' good today."

Caroline looked over and nodded at Nanette. "Yes please. The seperateness would be the goodness. Give him this building and I'll get the art building. Oh...he can have the atheletic stuff too...actually sequester him there. Then maybe the science club can study him in his natural habitat..." She felt her backpack start to slip slowly from her shoulder. She shook her head at Eric. "Just keep telling yourself that Eric....and you should try to be more excepting of the religious wingnuts. I'm sure you'd fit their requirements of the perfect boy. Minus the whole...banging every chick you see thing, but I'm sure they'll get over it..." Caroline dropped her bookbag and retightened the strap while listened to Eric come on to Nanette. "Do yourself a favor Nanette, run before his good looks overtake his lack of brains and manners. Believe me...you'll thank me when you see his....ahem." She winked at Eric. "Tell your mom I said hi." With that she walked away ignoring anything that Eric was throwing back at her. That was fun.[out-Room 805 I hope this is ok ]

"Why thank you Eric. As kind as ever." She took the compliment...but she knew quite well Eric's reputation...and as he was almost a god to most men in this school, she was not to be fooled over like everyother blonde cheerleader who saw this kids smile.
"I'll be sure to keep the spirit of the holy ghost between us caroline. Promise." She smirked and waved her good bye to Caroline. "I'll tell my mother hi. Don't worry." nanette turned her attention back to the boy...man next to her. "
"And how are you today Eric?"

Eric chose to ignore Caroline's latest remarks, he was too busy checking out Nanette. The girl sure had changed over the summer - in a good way. Instead he just rolled his eyes and said, "Whatever, Caroline." Not taking his eyes of Nanette as Caroline walked away.
In response to Nanette's question, Eric shrugged. "Could be worse. Could be better though - could be at home." He flashed another smile at Nanette. "And yourself?" He asked, in a mock-gentlemanly way.

"At home. psh..who wants to be at home when you have sports to attend, like cheerleading or dancing." Nan smiled as he asked her in return how she was. "I'm great. I've had probably the best day in my life...maybe. The days not over yet and I probably just jinxed myself." She quickly reached her hand out and knocked on the wooden door.
Who's door she didn't know and could care less about. It was probably some english teachers door, considering they were in the english slash second language classes hall. That's how nanette had memorized the halls...by what classes were in them. Eveynow and then they'd get mixed up, but that was only because there'd be a science class in the middle of literature.
"I'm looking foreward to the game tonight, I'll eb there. Cheerleading my ass off."

"Well," replied Eric, completely serious, "The sports are the only reason I come. The sports and the cheerleaders, that is." he added, flirtatiously. He laughed at her knock on the door. He had never been superstitious, and found that kind of thing silly. He wouldn't let Nanette know that, though. She was hot and he was interested. From this point on anything she did would be cute and perfect, regardless of how Eric really felt. "You'll be cheering at the game tonight?" he asked, "Great! I'll make sure I get a touchdown, just for you." He winked at Nanette. (OOC - Didn't know what game it might be, so I picked football... we can change it if it's already been established as a different sport somewhere else )

[OOC: Football works. =] ]
Nanette's smile widened. For being a jock he was quite nice, but maybe that was only because he wanted in her pants? She mentally shrugged her shoulders, and then turned to look at him. "Well if you score a touchdown, I'll just have to cheer quite loudly for you."
"What class are you going to?" She asked as she adjusted the bag hanging off her right shoulder, for the millionth time that day. Hollister made great bags, now if only they could make them stay ON her shoulder...and not catch her hair underneath the strap...it'd be perfect.

Eric smiled back at Nanette. This was just what he needed to forget about his encounter with Caroline - shameless flirting. "Well, I'll be watching you, then." he replied with a grin.
Eric watched as Nanette fiddled with her backpack, which didn't seem to want to stay on her shoulder. "Oh," he said, nontchalantly, "I don't really know where I'm headed, probably yet another stupid, waste-of-time class." He reached out his hand to her. "Why don't you let me carry that?" he asked, motioning to her backpack, which was once again sliding off her shoulder. "I'll walk you to your class, if you'd like." He flashed his most handsome smile and winked at her again. "What class do you have?"
