Dwayne couldn't help but laugh at Maureen's enthusiasm. "Now that's the kind of idea we'll need. It'll help the first goal. The second is for everyone to come for safer schools, because God knows this school needs it." He rolled his eyes good naturedly. Okay, so she wanted to pretend she was someone else. It went against his principles, but he'd keep his mouth shut. But just this once.

"I knew you'd like it," said Maureen with a smile, "Though," she said, eyeing Cathrine, "I'm not sure if I have any ideas for safter schools...do you have any ideas?" she asked Cathrine. She was suspiscous of this girl..somehow she didn't think she was who she claimed to be.
"No...." said Cathrine...she had to get out of her...someone would find out soon enough, "In fact, I may have to leave soon..."
"Aww..." said Maureen, pouting, pretending to be upset, "Why? We'd love it if you stayed."
"No..." Cathrine said, "I need to go..to the dentist!" she said, "Ya, I have a dentist appointment soon."

Dwayne sighed a bit. Looked like Cathrine chickened out of her own half baked scheme. "Well...nice meeting you, Apple." He rolled his eyes discreetly as he looked away. She'd probably try to convince him to break up with Lilly again tomorrow, because something completely stupid "prooved her point". Terrific.

"Ya," said Cathrine and got up, "Bye.." and she was out like a light. Now what....she was just shown the complete OPPOSITE of what she was trying to prove! How could she tell Dwayne that? That she felt horrible right now? How could she tell him that when she was so confiedent that she would prove all gays were whiny.
"What to do?" she muttered to herself, then looked down at her outfit, "Well," she said, "First, I should put these back in Dad's closet..."

Maureen blinked. That was weird. "Who was that?" she asked Dwayne.

Dwayne sighed, crossing his arms. "It was Cathrine." He looked back toward Maureen. "She basically ran into me earlier, yelling at me about Lilly and then she got the oh so brilliant idea to prove that she was right and how the entire gay community was whiny, so that I'd break up with Lilly...in the magical land of 'Cathrine's Delusions'." He rolled his eyes. "I saw right through that disguise right away, so don't think I'm crazy."

"Oh," said Maureen, "I've heard of her...heard she's a huge bigot," she said with a disgusted face.
"Oh God," said Maureen with a giggle, "She sounds horrible...and the gay community isn't whiny!" she said with a pout.

"I know...she is. And the fact that she's my ex doesn't really help matters. But that's not the point. You're going to have to keep this quiet Maureen. I know you don't want to, but well...as much as I hate her, I don't want her to have to suffer like she makes other people do. Most of my comments were aimed toward her and that's punishment enough."

"You used to date her?" Maureen asked in surprise...wow, he must of been desprete. She then pouted, "Aww...," she said, "Come on! The biggest bigot in the world at a GSA meeting! That's something to tell the world! She'll get what she deserves!"

Dwayne rolled his eyes. "It's not something I brag about, okay? And no, we're not going to stoop that low Maureen. Cathrine uses rumors to get back at people. Do we really want to be like her? Besides...naive as it sounds, I think she was really affected by this."

Maureen pouted. "But, it wouldn't be rumors, it would be the truth!" She slouched in her chair and sighed in annoyance. Dwayne wasn't the kind of guy you wanted to agrue with. "Too me she seemed more nervous about her disguise being found out," she said with a roll of her eyes.

"Well, we'll just have to see, won't we? If she tries to convince me to break up with Lilly again based on this, we'll know you were right." He stood up. "Just be nice, please? She just lost her mom. I hate her guts, but let's not make her life worse. If she acts like a bitch though, by no means, tell who you want." There. That was a good compromise.

Maureen sighed and got up. "Alright, I'll be nice...but, if she acts all evil tommorow...no more niceness. Well," she said, "I better get going...lots of homework," she said with a groan, "And extra, 'cause my stupid History teacher treats hunting like a game and when I try to nicely tell him, he gets all angry!" She sighed in annoyance. "Well, anyway, see ya."

Dwayne sighed out of relief. "That's all I ask. If she's evil, we can be as mean and brutal as we want." He bit his lip. "Good luck with that Maureen. If it makes you feel any better...been there, done that."
He waved goodbye to her and glanced up at the clock. An idea was formulating in his head and the urge to follow through was building up. Within a few seconds, he was off. Color him pathetic.
