Josh smiled at Rob. He knew this wasn't good; he was technically still in a relationship with Chris, yet he was falling for this new guy. Falling hard, at that. "Besides, there are some people that will accept you for who you are. Those are the only people worth knowing, anyway, because they're your true friends. Lilia and my aunt are pretty much the only people in my family that accept me for who I am," Josh told him. "But the others aren't worth my time. They're all stuck on themselves and their own problems. Especially my parents, with the elections coming up soon and everything. The rest of the family sees having a gay child as some kind of curse."
"It is," Josh replied, smiling sadly. Thinking about home probably wasn't the best thing he could be doing right now to try and accept that he wasn't welcome there any more.

"Of course," said Rob with a smile, "The people who matter are people who accept you.." he frowned..."Sorry," he said, "My dad doesn't accept me much ethier." Well, really at all.

Josh smiled sadly at his new friend. "It sucks. Not that there's anything you can do about it," Josh shook his head. "This is kind of a depressing topic, don't you think? What do you do for fun around here, anyway?" he asked.

Rob chuckled, "Ya it is...." he was glad to get on another topic, the topic was getting pretty deppresing, "For fun I mostly shop," he said.

Josh smiled. "Shopping? That would work, if I actually had any money," Josh joked. "I think we're going to have to find you some more hobbies. One of these days, you'll break the bank if all you ever go do is shop."
"Is there, like, a minigolf course or anything around here? That could be fun," Josh replied. "Maybe we could go play some time. Or go bowling."

Rob laughed. "You're probably right...I hit the mall whenever I go shopping.." Sure, it was really hard to find cute clothes to wear that wouldn't be suspicious to his dad. But, he manged and would find some pretty cute things.
"I need to think of things to do that don't cost me anything..." Standing out here was pretty peaceful to him...maybe he'd go camping or something.
"I've never played golf," said Rob, "Could be fun." He smiled and chuckled, "But...doesn't that cost money?"

Josh shook his head. "I really hope you have a job to support that habit," Josh replied, smiling at him. He thought for a moment about what Rob could do that wouldn't cost too much money. "Well, there's always camping. Or going swimming, if there's a lake around here. People usually charge for pools."
"It costs a little money to play minigolf. But it's a heck of a lot cheaper than going shopping all the time," Josh replied.
