Lilia sighed as she set her tray down on the cafeteria table. The whole idea of eating in a school cafeteria grossed her out, but she didn't have a whole lot of choice in the matter. She'd forgotten to pack a lunch, not that there was anything in her house worth eating. Gotta go shopping soon, she thought.

Eric moved through the cafteria, lunch in hand. He bypassed the table where he normally sat, with other members of his teams, looking around for Lilia. He spotted her at a table by herself, looking distastefully at her cafeteria food. He grinned widely, realizing he'd made the right choice when he packed his lunch today. Dropping down beside her, he placed a quick peck on her cheek. "Hi Lil. How are you?" Pointing to her lunch, he asked, "That what they're trying to pass off as food today?"

"I'm good," Lilia replied, smiling up at Eric as he sat down. "It looks like dog food to me," she replied. "I think it's supposed to be beef tips, but that's questionable."

Eric grimaced at the food. Beef tips? "I think you're right. It does look like dog food." He shoved the plate away from Lilia, toward the other end of the table. "Which is why it's a good thing I brought this!" he exclaimed, opening his own lunch bag and pulling out two pieces of the lasagne they had made together. He'd already heated it on his way here, and he had made sure he cut her a smaller piece than last time. Placing one container in front of her, he beamed.

Lilia laughed. "You are amazing," she said, leaning over to kiss him. "You were a smart one and checked the menu, didn't you?"
Lilia picked up the plastic fork off of her tray and cut a bite of the lasagna. She ate it and smiled. "It's just as good reheated," she told him. She kissed his cheek. "Thank you."

Eric grinned, happy to have pleased her. "I ordered from the cafteteria once," he told her, conspiratorially, "Never again." He winked at her and took a bite of his own food. After eating quietly for a moment, Eric put his fork down and took Lilia's free hand in his, squeezing gently and smiling at her. "Did you have a good morning?" he asked.

"I guess I'll have to remember that," Lilia replied. She smiled when he took her hand. "It was okay. At least, it wasn't quite as good after I had to leave you," she replied. "But then again, gym isn't ever fun for me, so that isn't anything new."

"You don't like gym?" Eric asked curiously, "Why?" It was Eric's favourite class - he would have taken it this year, but he had to take that stupid math class again. Then again, the 'stupid math class' is how he met Lilia, so maybe it wasn't so stupid after all. Grinning a little at that, he voiced his thoughts. "I think math may just become my favourite class," he admitted.

Lilia gave Eric a "look," as her mother called it. "Because I'm not athletic. At all," she said. She took another bite of the lasagna. "Math? Are you feeling all right?" she asked, putting her hand to his forehead. "I don't see how anyone could like math, of all subjects," she joked.

Eric took the hand Lilia had placed on his forehead and brought it to his lips. "I meant because you're there," he told her, softly. Keeping her hand in his, he continued eating for a moment, then turned back to her. "Are we still on for tonight?" he asked, "I rented that movie you mentioned, and made reservations for dinner. I can't wait,"

Lilia smiled and ate some more of her lasagna. "Of course we're still on. I can't wait," she replied. "I can't believe you found the movie. I've had trouble finding it since the last time I saw it. Of course, I haven't really had a chance to look around here that much."

Eric chuckled putting down his fork. "You don't want to know what I had to do to find that movie," he informed her. Kissing her quickly on the lips, he added, "The things I'll do for you," He smiled, squeezing her hand, before returning to his lunch.

"I just hope it wasn't anything illegal. I could never forgive myself if you got arrested for doing something for me," she said, smiling at him. She closed her eyes when he kissed her. "You know that you didn't have to do that," she said, smiling at him again. "It's not like I would have been mad at you. We could watch anything, just as long as I'm watching it with you."

"Well, actually, Lilia," Eric began, tone serious, but he couldn't finish his thought. Looking at her brought a smile to his face and the story he was about to tell flew out of his mind. "No, no prison for me," he continuted, rubbing his chin thoughtfully, "But I hear that inmates get all the girls..." he trailed off, pretending to ponder that, before breaking into a grin and winking at Lilia.

Lilia just shook her head and laughed at Eric. "You can be so silly some times," she said. She leaned over and planted another kiss on his cheek. "The idea of you in prison attire isn't appealing. I mean, some girls go for that, but not me. I kinda like the whole clean-cut ideal."
