"Sounds good to me," Caroline whispered. When Joanne took her hand she grinned. Boy was she glad that they decided to this movie. "Being prepared is never a bad thing." She watched the movie with a slight lack of interest as she kept wondering if her hand was too sweaty. Or if she could inch closer or if she should do something that she wasn't. But when the credits came up, she realized the movie was pretty good. Not that scary but cool premise...as soon as she remembered it.
"So...you ok?" Caroline asked Joanne as the lights came up.

Joanne watched the move with little interest. She didn't much care for these kind of movies, but it had been enjoyable enough. Nothing to scary, but interesting bible plagues come to life, end of the world. She knew Caroline wanted to see something scary, and was disappointed slightly it wasn't even that.
"Yeah, I'm ok." Joanne replied with a grin, making no move to release Caroline's hand. She blinked owlishly to get use to the light. "It wasn't very scary or anything." She said with a laugh.

"Not it wasn't," Caroline giggled. "But...I think I still had a good time..." She looked at their hands for a moment. How couldn't she? When she was holding Joanne's hand? "I'm proud of you. You did manage to survive the movie. So you get all of the stale popcorn as a door prize."
Caroline didn't want to take her hand from Joanne's but she did have to grab her purse. She did so with her opposite hand. "So we ready to go?"

Joanne leaned down to get her purse, using her foot to help so not to have to let go of Caroline's hand. "All the stale popcorn, wow, I'm the luckiest girl ever." She teased. She stood and inclined her head to the door.
"It's really late and I need to get home." She told her regretfully. "But maybe we could do something next weekend?" She questioned, reluctantly letting go of Caroline's hand and adjusting her purse, as the two moved into the lobby.
"I'll call you." She told her warmly, leaning over to place a kiss on Caroline's cheek. "Goodnight, have pleasant dreams." She offered, before having to leave.
((Joanne out. Gotta leave for a while.))

Caroline put her hand on her face. How could see not have sweet dreams after that date? It was sweet, they held hands and... But something was still bothering Caroline. They still hadn't kissed. Caroline was still a lip virgin as she liked to call herself. The night before she had psyched herself up to believe that this would be the day. No such luck. Caroline walked off trying not to sulk.
