((Title = who even cares?))
Lilly's feet somehow managed to find their way into the French room, entering the room with the secret word. Her fingers returned to twirling the pencil, the eraser bumping her finger every now and then. She threw her bag under her seat, pulling out her book and setting it on the table. *Hooray,* she thought, *another hour and a half of waiting. Fantastic.*

Benny hurried into class, tossing the secret word at the teacher before heading for a seat. He noticed Lilly was already in the class and decided to sit next to her again. He had enjoyed talking to her last class, and figured it might help the time pass quicker today as well.
"Hey," he said quietly, dropping his bag on the ground and pulling out his French binder. Scribbling down the date, he looked over at Lilly, hoping she wouldn't mind him sitting there.

"Hey," Lilly answered, a little vacant. She looked towards the clock. Only three minutes had passed until she entered the class. "Can we just get this over with, please," she thought aloud, impatient for lunch. She was still hoping that the two of them had the same lunch hour.

Benny blinked at Lilly's comment. Looking at her a little strangely, he asked, "You want me to sit somewhere else?" He didn't quite understand what was wrong - they'd gotten along well enough last time.

"No, no, I'm sorry! I was just thinking about the school day, I'm so ready for it to end." An embarrassed blush crossed Lilly's face quickly. "I'm actually going to meet my boyfriend at the end of the day, so...I'm finding today's classes sort of pointless."

Benny smiled, relieved. "Me too. Can't wait to get home." He noticed Lilly's blush when she mentioned her boyfriend and raised an eyebrow. "Your boyfriend, huh?" he asked with a smirk. "Mark know?" He knew that Mark could be a little... well, very protective of his sister, and wondered how he'd react to her having a boyfriend.

Lilly groaned. "Yep, Mark knows. He doesn't like it at all. Partly because of who it is. Partly because he's a pansy-ass."

Benny laughed, a little to loudly, and was shushed by the teacher. "Je m'excuse," he said, trying to wipe the grin off his face. When the teacher looked away, he turned back to Lilly. "He's definitely a pansy-ass. I'm gonna have to use that one on him. It's perfect!" He smiled, imagining what Mark's reaction would be when he called him that. "So who's the guy? Anyone I know?"

"Probably. Dwayne Mitchells. He's a senior too, so you probably know him. But he's not a jock, so...you probably hang in different circles. Knowledge by association, more like." Lilly nodded, taking a note in her French notebook.

Dwayne Mitchells. Yeah, Benny knew him. And they definitely didn't hang with the same crowd. He understood now why Mark wouldn't be too happy about Lilly's boyfriend. "Yeah, I know him," he said, neutrally, "When did you start dating him?"

"Yesterday afternoon," Lilly answered, noticing Benny's expression. "Oh, God, not you too! What do you have to say about him? Everybody's got something to say. Hopefully what you have to say isn't as...nerve-wracking as most people's."

Benny nodded. "That's cool," he said. He wasn't sure what to say to Lilly about Dwayne. He really didn't know the guy that well, just knew what he'd heard from others. He shrugged. "I don't really know him, Lilly," he told her, "Only what I've heard. And after yesterday, I've learned not to listen to rumours." He frowned a bit, remembering Cathrine's rumour about him and Tommy.

"Oh, don't give me that shit. I can totally tell you were thinking of something earlier. Just tell me what you've heard, *please*...believe it or not, this information actually helps me, even if it is just word of mouth. Just say it, Benny." Lilly was glad for once that her seat was at the back of the room.

Benny shifted nervously in his seat. He didn't want to be telling her this kind of thing about her boyfriend, but he could tell from her expression that she wasn't going to let it go.
"Look, Lilly, all I can say is that I heard this is a guy you don't want to piss off. That he's got a vicious temper. One of the guys on the football team told me that this freshman asked out a girl he had his eye on and Dwayne just... he made the kid's life a living hell for the rest of the year." Benny didn't want to go into much more detail than that. He already felt bad for saying that much.

At this, Lilly bust out laughing. "Je m'excuse," she added, before lowering her voice to a whisper. "You know, that's really funny. He's like...well, I've seen him be angry like once, but it wasn't anything vicious! Oh, God, I'll remember that. There is no way that's true. Good for a laugh though. God, the football team..." She shook her head, still laughing quietly.
