Caroline was bored in the pit so she dropped her trumpet down carefully, and jumped up into the stage. She stood up and looked out into the theatre. It's nice, she though, to feel like you can see everything. Anything is out there. Watching you at the same time.

Carson Davis walked onto the stage to practice. But she found someone was already there. "Oh," she said, "Sorry. I'll just go."
((sorry, it's short. That's all I could think of.))

[it's ok. Just always make ur posts five sentences, you just squeaked by here ] Caroline waved her hand, "No no. You can stay here. I'm just looking. Doing nothing important." She looked out into the audience and then patted the stage space next to her. "Pull up a piece of stage, girl." She smiled and then waved her feet in the air. "Are you in the play at all? I'm in the pitt. Hi....Caroline by the way."

Carson smiled and walked over to the girl. She sat down next to her. "Hi," she said, "I'm Carson, Carson Davis. I auditioned for the show, but I don't know who I'm playing yet." She laughed a bit. "What grade are you in? Maybe you know by older brother and sister?"

((Hope you don't mind guys. )) Dwayne hummed a bit, something that wasn't quite common for him. It just showed that he was in an even better mood than usual. One could say that he had it made at the moment; a fantastic girlfriend, a decent part in a play, being busy as ever with the newspaper and he was just plain happy. It was lucky that he wasn't very pessimistic or he'd wonder what the catch was. He walked into the auditorium to see Caroline with a small, blonde girl. He smiled a bit as he waved toward his best friend. "Hey there."

"I'm a sophomore," Caroline said with a nod. Then she searched her thoughts looking for a mention of some Davis, but she came up blank. "Sorry. I don't think so...wait. Is your brother in band? I might know him from that...maybe. It's been a while since we had band last."
She looked up and smiled to see Dwayne. "Well hello mister actor pants. How are you?" She asked fluttering her eyelashes as if she was trying to impress him. "Congrats by the way. I'm proud. Maybe during a break I'll hold up a sign when you're on stage that says 'that's my best friend,' embarress you plenty." Caroline grinned mischeviously. "Oh...sorry this is...Carson by the way. Carson right?"

"I think is." Carson said, "He's Roger, Roger Davis, he's a Junior, and I also have a sister, Raelyn, who's a freshman like me." She smiled, "I'm playing the Fiddler but I hope I get to be in the chorus too because if I'm just the Fiddler I don't do much."
Carson looked up as the boy walked on stage.
"Yep, I'm Carson." Then to the boy she said, "Carson Davis. It's nice to meet you."

Dwayne laughed a bit at his friend's comments. "Well, I don't know if it'd embarass me too badly. It'd be too nice of you." He then glanced toward the younger girl. "Well, nice to meet you Carson. I'm Dwayne."

Caroline thought for a moment, "Yeah I think I know Roger. I don't know Raelyn though." She shrugged but then said, "I'll keep an eye out for her."
"Yeah...but hey, you're in the title. Even the lead can't say that," Caroline pointed out. She had seen the play once when she was younger. When her dad was still around, he always watched a lot of tv. "So you're kinda important. And I'm sure the director wouldn't mind, when you're not doing the fiddler thing."
She giggled at Dwayne shaking her head at him. "Tsk tsk, now you make me wanna do it. I wonder what colors I should use for the sign," Caroline tapped her chin as if she was really thinking about it.

Dwayne tilted his head. "Ah, so you're playing the Fiddler Carson? Impressive." He walked toward the stage, resting his elbow on it. He then chuckled. "Have fun designing that sign in your head Caroline. Knowing you, it'll stick out."

"Of course," Caroline said with a snort. "You know...sparkles and sequence. Big bright bubble letters. Maybe I'll even get someone else in the put to sing a song or something when I hold it up. It would disturb the musical but hey. It's all worth it." She grinned up at her best friend.
"Oh by the way...everything is ok," She replied with a small smile. "I'm offically Joanne's girlfriend. And she was ok with it. And the other girl...well she was just a mistake. So...everything is good. Thanks."

Dwayne chuckled a bit. "Now that might embarass me a bit. Which is your full intention, of course I realize that. So congratulations." He then stood up out of surprise. "Wow, really? That's great, really. I'm just sorry I wasn't much help." He grinned toward Caroline. He was just glad she finally had a girlfriend.

Caroline waved her hands in the air. "Yay. I win! All of my dreams come true. Now all I need is a trip to Disney World and I'm a happy camper." She waved her legs into the air as if she was a little girl. "Yeah...and you so were help," Caroline said waving her hand at him. "You put my head on straight. I just needed someone to talk to me about it. And you were there." She pulled her knees up to her chest. "You helped. I promise. And now all is good and right in the world. You and Lilly...behaving?" She asked with a raised brow.

Dwayne grinned a bit. He always admired Caroline's energy. Joanne was certainly lucky...hey, he was going to have to meet her sometime. He put that on his mental checklist. He then bit his lip at the mention of Lilly. "Yes, we're behaving..."

Caroline smirked at his reaction. "Okay...well are you behaving in the sense that you're keeping your hands in your pockets at all times? Or do you mean that I don't have to expect being an auntie any time soon," She teased him with an even larger smirk. "I would prefer the second actually...." She muttered to herself.
