April bit her lip even harder. "It's hard to say..." She then blinked. "Wait, is Mark still being ridiculous? Because if so, remind me to knock some sense into that boy." She shook her head a bit. "Anyway...at least your mother might be okay. Perhaps it'll calm the men of the house down."

"Hahah, yeah right. But you can talk to Mark. He'd probably listen to you better. What he tells me and what he does are two different things." Lilly shrugged. "Oh well."

April shrugged. "I can dream, can't I? Anyways, of course I'll knock some sense into him. Sure, he's your big brother, but that doesn't mean he has to go nuts when you get a boyfriend." She rolled her eyes. "He probably thinks that Dwayne's exactly how rumors say it, right? God, people are idiots...and I'm pretty sure Cathrine helped start a few of those."

"Yeah. I've actually heard some pretty funny rumors. Benny told me a good one the other day." Lilly's eyes lit up as she thought about something. "He has to dance with me! We have to dance together in this show! Score....!"

April raised an eyebrow. "Ooh, what did he tell you?" She then grinned. "Yep, you're right. That's definitely going to be awesome. You two are so good together. I haven't seen Dwayne this happy in a while. Not that he was depressed or anything. Quite the opposite. It just seems more so now."

"Have you ever seen him dance? Damn, boy can dance. He should have a movie or something." Lilly sighed contentedly. "He's better than a movie star. Less money, granted, but that's okay."

April grinned widely. "Yeah, I bet he is." She suddenly mimed pulling an arrow on a bow and then letting it go. "Cupid's got nothing on this guy. He works that magic even better." She laughed a bit. "Yeah, I'm being silly, I know."

"No, you're just being honest." Lilly laughed. "And it works. I am living proof." She raised her hand, as if guilty. "God, I'm such a sap."

April laughed as well. "Aren't we all? You should see me with Roger, honestly. Particularly when we discussed Shakespeare the day he first asked me out." She shook her head. "And you guys are the few who see that side of me. Congrats."

"Awwww! That must have been so cute! You and Roger are cute anyway. Let's stop talking about me and talk about you and Roger." Lilly smiled, glad for the change in subject.

April laughed a bit. "Aww, you really think so? And are you sure that you don't need anymore of my excellent advice?" she asked sarcastically. "Anyway...well, what do you want to know?"

"I don't know. Just...how did it happen? You were off in daydream land in math the day after. I didn't get to hear about it. So dish, girl!" Lilly grinned. "And nah, I think I can figure it out from here."

"Ohhh. Well, I had just gotten your call about you first kissing Dwayne when I run into Roger at the bookshop. He was looking for a copy of Midsummer, so I helped him find it and well...he asked me to Homecoming. It only then hit me how gorgeous and what a great person he was, so I figured...why not? And he really makes an amazing boyfriend." She sighed a bit.

"That's so cute," Lilly agreed, nodding. "Midsummer? What he want Midsummer for? Isn't that a little too Shakespeare for Roger's tastes? I mean, I could see *you* knowing where it is and everything...but why would he be looking for it?"

"Oh, it was for Drama. Something tells me he doesn't dislike it quite as much as he used to thanks to that." She chuckled and blew a bit of her hair off her face. "We actually discussed that and he said how aside from Mark, I was one of the few people he could really talk to. Can you believe that?!"
