"Of course" April responded, smirking as she realized that the wheels in Roger's head must have been turning. As she accepted the drink, she said "Roger, I know that look. What's on your mind?"

"Thanks," He smiled. He started to stare at her and just take in her beauty. Without saying anything, he grabbed April's free hand with his free hand and said, "Your hand looked lonely so my hand decided to be with your hand." He laughed at such a corny thing he said.

April burst into laughter at Roger's comment. "Classy Roger, very classy" she commended with a wide smile. The longer this went, the more she was grateful that she agreed to go to Homecoming with him. Who knew that Roger could quite possibly make the perfect boyfriend? Impulsive as always, April kissed him lightly for a brief moment. As she pulled away, she examined his reaction.

"Thanks, I didn't think before I said that one," He laughed. This was one of the perfect days of his life. He had such a hard time being able to express himself to people but with April, he was different. He felt like he could tell the whole world how he was feeling at that moment. He was so deep in thought that he didn't even know that April would kiss him. As soon as their lips touched, he felt the connection and he loved it.
He looked at her for a moment, "Wow, didn't see that coming." Then he couldn't help himself, he leaned his head forward and kissed her gently.

April grinned slightly. He certainly seemed pleasantly surprised; exactly what she wanted. As soon as he kissed her, it was her turn to feel that. She pulled away for a moment and gazed at him intently. "There are no words, you know that right? No possible way to describe this?"

Roger smiled and couldn't stop staring at April. He knew she was beautiful but at that moment she was beyond that. "Of course, no words at all could," He said quietly to her. This really meant a lot to him and he wasn't planning to throw all this away.

April bit her lip as she kept grinning. She kissed him one more time before saying "Maybe we should get going?" It wouldn't have been exactly private, but it would probably be more so than if they stayed right by the concession stand. She was sure she heard gagging noises from prepubescent boys.

He kissed her back and smiled. "Yea we should get going before the movie starts," He agreed. He looked around and saw all the kids looking at them, whispering. He squeezed her hand and started to head toward their theater.

April followed his gaze and found her suspicions to be realized. She pressed her lips together to hold in a laugh before following his lead. "Apparently we've attracted some attention" she commented, her voice trembling with suppressed laughter. If there was one thing April liked, it was seeing people's surprised reaction. Why else would she let Cathrine go on and on during history class if not to shock her with her own indifference?

He laughed slightly, "Yea but they'll get it when they're old enough." He remembered when he was young and saw people kissing. He use to make gagging noises and be so immature about it. But he grew out of that stage.

"Mmhmm" April agreed, squeezing his hand lightly. After all, at their age, she wasn't any better. In fact, it gave most of her friends even more reason wonder if she was born the wrong gender when she didn't swoon over how "romantic" it was. Eventually, though, she was able to really understand it.

"So where shall we sit?" He asked her looking around the theater. It had a few people in it but it was not crowded. "Well at least we have a lot of choices," He laughed.

She chuckled as well, glancing around. "How about around here?" she suggested, motioning to a pair of seats in the middle. There was minimal chance of getting dizzy there. Or at least more dizzy than she was already getting. But this type was definitely favorable. She smiled lightly toward him at that thought.

Roger looked to where she suggested. "Oh okay, that spot is perfect for us," He told her. Those seats were perfect for them and not a lot of people were there too. It was perfect but the movies is not exactly a perfect place for a date.

April nodded in agreement as she settled herself down. She patted the seat next to her. "And down we go." She rolled her eyes good naturedly.
