Roger entered the theaters and felt the rush of cool air. He still was holding on to April's hand and couldn't stop smiling since. "So what movie do you want to watch?" He asked her.

"Hmm..." April scanned the titles for a moment. "Ooh, I heard that one's supposed to be good..." She glanced up at him. "Shall we?" She couldn't help but copy his smile. I'm making him happy. I don't think you can top that.

Roger looked at the movie she was talking about. "Oh okay," He said while glancing back at her, "Yes we shall." He didn't know what was making him feel this way, it wasn't him but he didn't even know what "this" was. He just felt happy for once.

April grinned slightly. "All right then. I'll pay for the popcorn, you pay for the tickets?" she asked with a shrug. Butterflies were fluttering around from her stomach to her heart at the moment. She hadn't been on a date in a while...ever since things fell through with herself and Dwayne, so she was extremely happy. Roger was one of her closer friends and she wouldn't choose anyone else of her friends to date.

"How about I pay for the popcorn and the tickets and you just keep me company?" Roger said more than asked. His heart was racing and he thought that the world could hear it but of course he hadn't been on a date in a long time. The last person it was with well it didn't really count because it was more of a friend hangout.

April raised an eyebrow. "Are you sure?" she asked, stroking his hand with her thumb. Not that she would have minded too much. She was sort of cheap when it came to money. Still, Roger was certainly worth it. Then again, who was she to stop him from doing it his way?

"Yes I'm positive," He nodded and told the person in the ticket booth for two tickets. He got the tickets and his change. "Okay do you only want popcorn? Or what?" He asked while looking at the many items to buy. He worked for his money so why shouldn't he be able to spend it his way and besides she was worth it, every penny.

"Well thanks then" April responded, still very glad that he hadn't let go of her hand. It just felt so strong.
"Just popcorn for me. I'm allergic to chocolate and those sour things aren't exactly yummy in my opinion" she responded with a nod. She rested her head on his shoulder for a minute. "This is all really nice of you" she said with a smile.

"Oh really? Well do you want a drink at least?" He offered. They were almost to the cashier and he couldn't make up his mind on what he wanted. He felt a rush of joy when she put her head on her shoulder. He couldn't stop this feeling he had, it kept growing stronger. "Well I mean it's how a man suppose to treat a great lady like yourself," He smiled.

"Nah...I've got that particular field covered" she whispered with a smirk. She brought water bottles everywhere. Yes, she realized it wasn't technically allowed, but really, they charged so much for water.
She blushed lightly at his comment. "Well, well Roger. I didn't know you were such a gentleman" she whispered, squeezing his hand.

Roger nodded and remembered that she always brought water bottles everywhere she went so he laughed a little. "Well sometimes I can and sometimes I can't, depends on what the situation is and who the person is," He told her and squeezed her hand back.
They were next in line and he went to the cashier and ordered, "One large popcorn please," He looked at April, "Butter or no butter?" "Then one large Sprite, that's it," He finished.

April grinned widely at his comment. The butterflies had officially gotten out the party music and were dancing around in her stomach. It took all of her self control to not jump for joy. "Butter" she responded to his popcorn question, although due to her happiness, it was a miracle she had caught the question.

"Okay butter on the popcorn," He told the cashier. The cashier got the total and Roger pulled out his wallet and gave the money. He knew he couldn't carry the stuff without letting go of her hand but he didn't want to. But he let go of her hand and grabbed the stuff.

April's face fell slightly, but she quickly let it slide. "Need help with that?" April offered. Honestly, it was enough that he paid for everything. She needed to do something to make herself use-full. Plus, the fact that this was her first date in ages didn't exactly help that need.

"Oh okay, can you carry my drink then?" He really wanted to hold her hand again but the only way was for her to hold something and then he could grab her hand again. He held his hand with the soda to her.
